Lisaline is a Hallberg Rassy 42E, built by the well-known Swedish shipyard in 1990. I had been looking for this sailing vessel for a long time and finally found it in perfect condition. It is a solid boat with a central cockpit and a ketch rig. I sailed as a captain for many years then I dedicated myself to the countryside and catering, now that the children are grown up and can manage the agritourism activities, I return to my old passion. I previously had another vintage 18-meter ketch from 1936 with which I did charters for 3 years. The boat is located in Porto Ercole in Monte Argentario. Lisaline has two cabins, one aft with two separate beds, one of which is a large one, and a cabin in the bow with two beds that can be joined together to become a double. For this reason, it is ideal for 4 people; another double bed can be created in the saloon. Upon request, my cooking experience and knowledge of the fish will be available to guests. On board we will have a tender with a 5-horsepower engine and a SUP, a rod for trolling and bottom fishing, as well as all the equipment necessary for safe navigation. Our day on the boat with Francesco was the highlight of our two week trip to Europe! He was able to find wind on a calm day to get some great sailing in around the Argentario peninsula. He cooked us lunch and it was better than any restaurant in the region!
Host: In the States, there was a long-running television advertisement campaign for Dos Equis Beer, featuring the most interesting man in the world. Our host, Francesco, could reprise that role. C’mon, he sails, is a chef, and listens to the coolest music ever. Best epitomizing the man was the way that he gazed to the horizon, while puffing on a Camel. Great host, who knew exactly when to engage and when to leave us alone. Boat: The boat was well-maintained. There was not enough wind to sail so we have no comment about either the boat’s or Francesco’s abilities there. Trip: The trip itinerary was left to Francesco and was a hit. Two nights at two different venues in Giglio. Tip: Let Francisco choose the fish for lunch and dinner - spectacular! Summary: The short voyage exceeded our expectations. Francesco's boat is simply beautiful, in perfect condition. A historic shipyard, a Ketch with elegant finishes, on board which it is a pleasure to sail and spend the days. Francesco is first of all a fantastic person and then an expert, kind and thoughtful Commander. He welcomes you on board and makes you feel at home. BEAUTIFUL boat with a large and comfortable floor unlike other more modern but less comfortable boats. A beautiful day spent among the Argentario coves with Francesco who is a nice person and good company, I would gladly go back, perhaps for more than just one day.
Sublime experience with Captain Francesco. He immediately proved to be very helpful from when we arrived in port and he was throughout the navigation, he also proved to be an excellent cook having prepared exceptional fish-based dinners for us taken from him in a trusted fish shop. He took us to suggestive coves both for the beauty of the sea and for the view of the island of Giglio, the boat speaks for itself with the photos ... beautiful, very comfortable and very clean! An experience that I absolutely recommend both for the company of the captain and for the places he will show you!

Ho 65 anni con la patente nautica da circa 40 . Ho navigato per circa 50.000 miglia in tutto il Mediterraneo per 17 anni Come Capitano ed in seguito come armatore . Sono padre di 4 magnifici figli e per poterli seguire ho lasciato il mare per dedicarmi all’agricoltura , adesso i ragazzi sono cresciuti e finalmente sono tornato in mare ,ho acquistato un Hallberg Rassy 42 E in condizioni eccellenti . Come dicevo navigo da quando avevo 20 anni , ho iniziato con le regate per farmi l’esperienza , dopo di che , conseguita la patente senza limiti dalla costa , ho avuto imbarchi come capitano fino a 32 anni, mi sono sposato ed ho avuto 2 figli . Per seguire la famiglia sono sbarcato ma lavorando sempre sul mare . Nel 1994 mi imbatto in un David Hillyard ketch del 1936 con una storia incredibile , lo acquisto , lo trasferisco a Porto Ercole e lo restauro .Per tre anni faccio charter con Windswept tra le isole Eolie e Baleari , intanto sono nati altri due figli e di nuovo devo pensare alla famiglia . Ma adesso , come dicevo, i ragazzi sono grandi , abbiamo creato una azienda agricola con Agriturismo e allevamenti che loro possono seguire in autonomia , così finalmente si torna per mare .
