This experience was definitely not what I expected for €775. After I confirmed the payment, there was no communication from the owner until I reached out myself to ask for the meeting point. I only received the location at 9 pm the night before the trip. There was also a miscommunication about the timing. I initially requested 1 pm to 7 pm, but the offer came with a 10 am to 4 pm slot — without any note or clarification. We assumed he knew best and accepted the new time, only to find out he had actually counted on 1 pm. On the day of the trip, we had a different captain, who was very kind and did his best in a difficult situation. Unfortunately, the boat itself was broken. We ended up stuck at sea for nearly 50 minutes because the engine wouldn’t start. The captain had to replace the battery, which took considerable time and effort. During this time, we were just sitting on the boat with no opportunity to swim or enjoy the experience. This is not our first time renting a boat, so we can compare it with other trips - and unfortunately, this one fell far below expectations. Overall, the experience fell short of expectations, especially considering the price paid.
We had an amazing time, with our captain pedro. He was very funny and nice. The boat was amazing for a really good price. The communication with Alvaro was very easy and smooth. I would thoroughly recommend giving alvaro a message and booking onto one of his boats.
Alvaro was a great skipper, kind and knowledgeable. But communication could have been better. Zero english skills and no answer of questions beforehand. Further, the state of the boat did not really match the photos and the “snacks and drinks” included was just a bag of chips and not the spread I saw on the photos.
Alvaro was fantastic! We had one passenger who got a little seasick and he helped her so much. I highly recommend.

A day in which Álvaro has taught us all the maneuvers that must be done in port. If you want to learn to steer your own sailboat with a professional, he is the best instructor. Without a doubt, we will repeat soon because he has not skimped on showing us and making us practice docking and undocking maneuvers inside the port, turnaround, reverse docking, maneuvers between pontoons, in short, we have learned in a few hours what we have not learned in a week . We took a walk with Álvaro very comfortable 9 friends towards Estepona. We even saw dolphins and we got on the paddle surf board that he lent us ?

Rent Álvaro's sailboat, he is a very competent and affable professional, he will advise you when the ideal sea is according to what you are looking for (at sea there are days that are destined to remain imprinted in the memory). I recommend to everyone who wants to live an experience in Marbella, away from crowds and with all the comforts. We all enjoyed it very much and we will never forget this memory, the views of the Coast and the Sierra Blanca, paddle surfing, a picnic on board, feeling the breeze ... the children do not stop talking about that day.
