We loved sailing with Ian in St. Lucia Nov. 30 to Dec. 2, 2025 from Rodney Bay in gorgeous St. Lucia to the Pitons and back. Ian is a competent and courteous captain and host. Excellent cook. We didn't have to lift a finger in the kitchen. He even baked fresh bread for us! The boat was very dry. Equipment was well maintained. His fresh water source was excellent. The boat was well stocked with anything we needed (someone forgot a brush on the trip!). They say a boat gets shorter every day and your companions harder to co-exist with, but at the end of our trip we were ready to keep sailing and didn't want our experience to end! Good Memories made, indeed!

100% THE BEST! Just got back from the most amazing sailing trip with my mom and best friend with Capitán Yann. His boat is spotless and in excellent condition, and his sailing knowledge and expertise are truly top-notch. We sailed from St. Lucia to Martinique and back, with plenty of snorkeling in beautiful protected coves and bays. At first we didn’t choose the all-inclusive option, but we ended up switching—and I’m so glad we did! Captain Yann is not only an incredible sailor but also the best chef. He knows exactly where to find the freshest, highest-quality food, and every meal he prepared was absolutely delicious. Highly, highly recommend!

My fiancé and I had a great time on Richard's boat for 5 days . The boat was well equipped and we felt extremely safe in the hands of Richard as a skipper. We opted in for the all inclusive package and were very happy with Richard's cooking throughout our trip as he cooks well. The only downside may have been the cleanliness of the boat, however at this pricepoint it was sufficient. Thank you Ian for giving us incredible memories of sailing in the pristine waters of the windward islands!

We took our two young kids (aged 3 and 5) on a 5-night adventure with Ian. We had planned to sail around St. Lucia but he offered to take us to Martinique so we did that instead. We enjoyed all of the places we visited (some were truly breathtaking) and found the adventure to be fun yet safe. Ian was professional and made us feel safe even when we were in very rough waters and seasick. He made sure that we had an unforgettable adventure. The price ended up being quite a bit more than what was advertised, but we did order extras like all food and wine provided, which was very nice.

Ian planned a brilliant trip for us, taking us to wonderful beaches, lagoons and new places to visit around Martinique. He was hospitable, relaxed, and the boat had all the basics needed for a sailing adventure. He was great with our 7 year old, and was very happy to run us ashore and pick us up whenever we needed. We undertook a 5 day cruise with Ian, which he tailored very well to our needs. Ian did also a great job in provisioning the boat, after we shortly connected prior about our upcoming cruise. We were exclusively in Martinique and Ian knows that area very well. We have our little cruise with Ian in good memories, as we had some demanding navigation, strong winds and not too small waves, snorkeling, swimming, sun and beaches nicely mixed up in it. Overall, we can recommend Ian to anyone who intends to have some sailing experience in Martinique and beyond.
