Ykta is a good boat for a cruise of a few days for 4/5 people. Reliable, seaworthy, and well-equipped, it's good value for money. Daniel made the boat easy to get to know and return home. Thank you! For the cooks, there are two gas burners but no oven. Our crumble turned into a fruit salad :)

Ykta is a great sailboat in which the space is optimized, it is full of storage. In addition, we felt very comfortable there with 5 people. The equipment is recent, well maintained, and the brief was complete. It might be interesting to complete the ad to better anticipate budgets by detailing the gas and engine packages, and to warn that for a night at the port of Saint Mandrier it will cost you €48 (May 2025 rates). But really overall Ykta was a very good rental choice! To do again!

Daniel is a pleasant, accommodating person and makes himself easily available. For me these are huge assets for a charter company that has several boats. We felt that he was there for us. There were some issues with the sealing of the portholes which were a bit problematic for a rental in September. Otherwise, I think that the "engine hours package", gas bottle, deposit etc. should be highlighted so that everything is clear before the rental. Otherwise, zero problems. Thank you Daniel.

Superb week of sailing. The boat is easy to handle and is very safe, we faced winds of more than 20 kt without problems. Daniel is very available and responds quickly to messages. The broken battery on the 1st morning was replaced quickly, in about 2 hours Daniel gave us a new one.

Great little boat, very comfortable, easy to handle and very well equipped. All amenities were functional and in good condition. The mast furler and the autopilot make life a lot easier for a beginner like me. We spent 3 magnificent days between Cap Sicié and Porquerolles, with a wind that sometimes rose to 20 knots. At the start of the rental, we did 3 hours of coaching with Daniel to get to grips with the boat and understand how the equipment worked, which I was not used to. It also went very well, Daniel gave us a lot of useful advice in a friendly atmosphere. In any case, I'm very happy to have found Daniel's company, which allows you to rent a sailboat of reasonable size at a reasonable price and with a lot of flexibility, and I certainly intend to repeat the experience.

We spent a very nice week with the family on Daniel's sailboat, a friendly and accommodating owner. Sailboat comfortable and well equipped easy to handle. The departure from the small port of Saint Mandrier gives us the choice of heading west: creeks of Cassis or east: port Cros, Porquerolles, we did both in good conditions. Thanks Daniel.

We suffered a lot of damage. We ended up with a distress call to the SnSm, for engine failure. This boat needed an engine overhaul and many small details before the rental. Now the owner is talking about having to take the engine out. Too bad, to have waited for the breakdown

Excellent communication with availability and responsiveness. Daniel facilitated the implementation of this navigation program with a simple and precise check in in the instructions. YTKA, a 20-year-old BAVARIA 30, is clean both inside and out. A sail drive motorization facilitating maneuvers, a beautiful simple wardrobe (GV on furler) and a good autonomy in water and electricity with solar panels. Complete safety equipment that complies with regulatory obligations. Small negative things to review or improve with report made to Daniel: log / speddo out of order (see paddle wheel), gps screen / plotter out of order (scratched screen illegible), automatic bilge pump out of order, review of mainsail hoist assembly which twists (move the pulleys under the mainsail or double pulley), missing 2 additional mooring lines (if necessary), a little scanty crockery, missing 1 or 2 Tupperware for salads while sailing (practical), addition of a wind at the head of the mast (little more practical and fine). The negative point to be repaired: HS toilet announced by previous tenant when we arrived (valve, drain pipe and pump handle HS) but even if we lost 1h15 in the morning, Daniel took pains to find a repair solution , including buying a new pump (to no avail)…we managed the old fashioned way with the bucket!!! Overall beautiful boat, practical and comfortable despite the lack of space at the helm. For the unspecified administrative part: additional cost for gas with 10€ for 3 days, on a visitor place the cost of the night the day before departure is the responsibility of the tenant. Daniel offers a friendly service of refilling diesel on the return for a consumption of 2.5 L/h at 2€ per liter (very practical). Following the loss of a bitter, we reached an agreement to compensate for the inconvenience of the HS toilets. Daniel is very friendly and apart from the few end-of-season odds and ends, these 3 days were perfect and it is with pleasure and confidence that I will return quickly. I highly recommend Daniel and his sailboats on this beautiful base departing for the Iles d'Or or Bandol. Thank you Daniel!

We had a great stay on Ytka, from St Mandrier to Corsica and back. Daniel is very friendly and always available. The boat is safe, despite some difficulties in passing from the cockpit to the helm station and vice versa. We appreciated the furling mainsail. We were very well received by Daniel, and really enjoyed this weekend aboard the Bavaria 30 which, among other things, allowed us to discover Porquerolles. Boat in very good condition, on the outskirts of Porquerolles we had damage to the genoa furler but Daniel is very available, we were able to contact him easily and remedy the problem with some work.

Great stay spent on this Bavaria. Only problem, the reel bump that lets go in the middle of the journey... I would also have liked to be warned in advance that there would be an additional 10€ charge and not find out about it at the last moment. Ditto for the deposit which is retained several days after arrival. I'm not saying I'm against it, but I would have liked to be warned in advance so as not to find myself faced with a fait accompli. Beyond that, the reception is good and the trip was pleasant.

Daniel is at the top, getting to grips with the boat quickly and efficiently the day before departure and flexibility on the time of return. The boat is comfortable and makes good use of interior space. Some equipment is aging but quite functional (apart from the oven door and one of the less practical cooking fires). The mainsail furler came in handy with a crew not necessarily very experienced in navigation and in changing wind and sea conditions (up to 6 Bf). And apart from the piano's locking cleats, which were not so easy to handle, everything was in good condition. The port of Saint-Mandrier is well sheltered for easy entry / exit from the port. Great stay around the Golden Islands. Thanks again to Daniel!

A nickel boat and a top-notch welcome to Saint Mandrier! The boat is not very efficient but that was expected (the furling mainsail has a lot to do with it). Allow 8 knots of wind to sail. On the other hand, it is super comfortable and well equipped. Daniel is super nice, and the inventory is done very quickly, it's nice!

The boat is comfortable and well laid out. We sailed with 5 teammates for a weekend (night at anchor) without feeling cramped. Daniel is a serious and available owner. Possibility to embark the night before for a first night at the port. The mainsail on reel remains a matter of taste.

New boat offered for charter by Daniel. Some things were missing during the release but Daniel was very accommodating to get everything back ... Small 3 day outing with mistral without problems. For sailboats, there is a mainsail (on roller) and GE as a wardrobe. A staysail on a releasable forestay could be welcome to go upwind in a slightly strong wind. See you next time!
