KOALA is an easy boat to sail and live with. We use her as a family for bay regattas and summer vacations. The running and standing rigging are new this year. The interior upholstery, as well as the hull and engine overhauls, are also from the beginning of the season. The boat is equipped for coastal cruising (which is her typical program), meaning up to 6 nautical miles with a shelter for 6 people. Departing from Port Pin Rolland, the private marina allows you to access the boat via a short-term parking area for easy access, then leave your car in the long-term parking area (uncovered). A restaurant, restrooms, a laundromat, a ship chandler, and other services are also available on site. Toulon harbor and the islands of Porquerolles and Les Embiez are within a day's sailing distance. With 4 berths, it is ideal for sailing with a maximum of 6 people during the day, but overnight stays on board are not suitable for more than 4 adults, or ideally 2 adults and 2 or 3 children.

We had a wonderful stay aboard the Koala. There were two of us, my wife and I, and it was her first cruise. Pierre welcomed us with great kindness and took the time to present the boat to us in a very clear and reassuring manner. He explained the region to us and suggested an ideal itinerary, perfectly suited to our level and desires. The Koala is an excellent sailboat, very well maintained, comfortable, and equipped with everything necessary for a stress-free cruise. We sailed as far as Porquerolles and had a truly unforgettable experience on board. I highly recommend it!
Pierre was very accommodating with the rental times, both upon arrival and return of the boat. He took the time to explain all the boat's features to us and was available by phone if necessary.
Pierre gave us a really warm welcome and Koala is really good for spending a few days at sea.
4 days and 3 nights in Porquerolles for two, we had a blast! The boat was really great for what we did! Pierre was very accommodating and responsive, offering us a rental from the day before to the next day (following the cancellation of another reservation). KOALA is a very comfortable boat for its size. Four of us sailed for two days, including anchoring and hoisting the spinnaker. Great weekend. Thanks, Pierre =)
good sailboat in good condition despite its age, perfectly suited for a week around the Hyères islands for two, very good communication with the owner.
Very warm welcome from Pierre who introduced us to Koala as a whole and suggested possible sailings for our week. The crew of 3 adults allowed for an excellent life on board thanks to the available beds, the kitchen with a stove, a sink and a cooler (think about ice cubes), a large table in the saloon and its marine toilet cabin. No 220v shore power but the 2 auxiliary batteries recharge quickly and are more than sufficient. Koala offered us a maximum speed, remaining pleasant when sailing, of 5 knots. With its small 2-blade propeller, Koala does not respond very quickly to engine maneuvers, especially for changes of direction of travel, and we were somewhat ashamed to smoke up the pontoon when starting. However, it allowed us beautiful and safe anchorages (1.50m draft, 20m chain + 20m cable). A week forever marked in our memories. Pierre, thank you for your advice and your trust! Cathy.
