Yacht charter in Sorrento · Dalla Pieta' — 28 Altair (1990)

The boat is big enough for 4 adults & 4 children. The children up on the front deck had a good time. Through the waves it was a nice ride. The boat is in bad shape. It was obvious that the cabin of the boat had been carelessly painted by hand in a off-set colour. That gives the boat a bad look. Some handles were loose, so it was sometimes difficult to stay up in the waves. We ordered a specific trip, but in the communication up front I had to point out what we booked and what the trip looked like. Communication up front was further good. It seemed that there was bad weather coming up, so we changed the day in direct contact with the sailor. We appreciated that a lot. During the ride, there was a brief moment to swim form the ship. We thought we would have more time for this in open sea. Swimming from the ship was not part of the plan of the shipper. He said there was time during lunch. That was on a small beach in a town next to the restaurant. Not what we had in mind. There was some drinks in an old freezer. We had to manage that ourselves. The lunch was arranged by the sailor. That was terrrific and a very nice spot. He showed us some nice parts of the coast and sailed through some nice rocky islands. All in all it was nice trip, but not value for money.

The boat is very very very old, has no ice, there is no place to keep cold the drinks, i ask for the life jackets, he dont show me! The boat dont run fast like every boat, so the time to go to capri from sorrento its a loot. The boat it’s scary. The best think is Attilio, good guy, respectfull.

Hello, I would like to inform you that we had a TERRIBLE experience today. We have no complaint about the captain; he is a nice polite person, who almost doesn’t speak english at all.. but this is not very important. The boat was a DISSASTER! So old, so dirty : we did not even want to step bare foot on it. It is so out of shape!! Everywhere is broken; window, table… even the plastic trash can ( garbage) outside was so dirty … How can you send a boat like this to any customer? In the photos where I made the booking : it was so tidy and looked good. On the add it says 28 ALTAIR 2024!!! This boat is at least 20 years old.. If I knew that we were renting a 20 years old boat, we would not … So, as a result: we stepped out of the boat within the 1st one hour.. as soon as we found a beach restaurant and did not even use this boat to return to the marina. An other issue is that I saw this same boat in the app for 400euro daily today! Why did we pay 600 euro? We deserve a fair refund!! I don’t know if you care about my comments but if somebody asks me about our experience; I will have to tell these… Here is the 400 euro add for you to see, I wish you a good day.. Attilio Manzo: Despite messages exchanged before boarding he got the port wrong and made me wait over an hour on the spot.... The boat is identical to the photos taken recently, it is not true that it is dirty and it is fully functional in everything. And the price on line is not 400 euros because he did not read the additional extra fuel and Skipper.... I am sorry because this will hurt future submission requests. Boat in high demand for the honest price.

7 of us were on the boat with Attilio, it was a very enjoyable day, would definitely recommend!!

We had 8 people with 2 children including one 11 month baby and had a great experience. Attilio knows the area very well and is very accommodating. He took us to a fantastic restaurant which wa sonly accessible by boat and we had a great meal. Would highly recommend if you are keen on exploring and having value for money.

Great trip with Attilio. It was a little hard to communicate if you don't speak Italian, but nothing a translator cant help with. We asked to go to capri, and he scheduled a reservation to eat at a place on the island and we got to explore it a little. It was extremely beautiful. We got to swim for the whole day and explore the island. Only complaint is I wish I had stayed longer!

Attilio was prompt on messages and easy to work with. We were a family of 7 and fit comfortably on the boat. The boat is older but runs well and has lots of shade that we appreciated. The price for the day was exactly as pre negotiated. (An initial charge through the app then an additional eu 400 for gas) He met us on time at the port and we were taken directly to Capri. He drove us around the island but never really took us into any of the groves/ caves like some of the other tour boats. He advised us reserve a table for lunch at a private resort near capri or otherwise We would’ve had to pay an additional hundred euros to dock the boat. The food at the private resort was good, but very expensive, about twice what you would pay anywhere else. They have lounge chairs at the private beach We’re gonna come Bear and they charge an additional 15 eu per chair. If you walk through the restaurant and to the north side of the restaurant, there is actually another beach that allows you to Snorkel / swim without a fee. Resort does offer a free shuttle into downtown Capri. Which is complete chaos! He did take us to a swimming area off the back of the boat before we went back to Sorrento. Overall, we felt like we got what we paid for, but it is not luxury.
