Based in the central location of Town Quay Southampton, Sleat Princess offers either bare boat or skippered charters around the Solent and Englands South Coast, which are considered some of the best sailing areas in the world. From Town Quay Marina, you can be sailing within minutes of leaving your berth, heading out to one of the many harbours within a days sailing, or anchoring in one of the picturesque bays, or picking up a mooring buoy on the Beaulieu or Lymington rivers. There are many places to visit. Choose from a fantastic weekend away, a relaxing week's holiday or something longer. We will be flexible and work with you to ensure a truly memorable stay. The light and airy saloon is the perfect place to relax after a hard days sailing with a fully equipped galley to look after all of your crew.A welcome grocery pack can be arranged. Sleat Princess has something to offer everyone. She is very well presented and will comfortably sleep 4 in 2 cabins with 2 additional saloon bunks. She is fully coded to RYA standards and has on board all necessary safety equipment for your crew. If sailing is new to you or you are a little rusty we would be happy to provide a skipper to show you the ropes. In addition we offer taster weekends so you can decide if sailing is for you. We will be on hand to welcome you aboard and provide a full handover and an information pack on the local area. We can also offer as much, or as little, help/assistance as you require, to make your stay onboard memorable for all the right reasons. Just let us know what you require. The minimum qualification we would require from the charterer is an RYA, or equivalent, Day Skipper. If you do not have any qualification, we can provide a qualified Skipper. 5 of us took Sleat Princess out for 2 days and 2 nights. She is very comfortable and well-provisioned, as well as easy to handle. Mark and Alison were excellent to hire from: very friendly and relaxed, easily accommodating our plans, while also excellent at communicating (up-front, as well as very responsive to my many ad hoc messages). My brother and I had a fantastic weekend sailing in the Solent on Sleat Princess. Mark was very helpful and was able to meet us at the marina for a full handover. Lovely boat, we’ll definitely be booking again soon!
