When is the best time to go?

Gallipoli is a year-round destination, but the best time to visit depends on what you're looking for. If you want to soak up the sun and enjoy the warm Mediterranean waters, the best time to go is during the summer months from June to September. During this time, the weather is sunny and warm, and the sea temperature is perfect for swimming and water activities.

For a quieter time experience, the shoulder seasons of May and October can be a great option. The weather is still mild and pleasant, and there are fewer crowds. Additionally, rental prices may be lower during the shoulder seasons, making it an ideal time to find a great deal on a boat rental in Gallipoli.

If you're an experienced sailor looking for a more challenging sailing experience, the winter months from November to April can be a great time to visit. The weather is cooler, and the sea conditions can be more challenging, making for a thrilling sailing adventure.

Rent with or without a skipper

If you're not an experienced sailor, or if you simply want to sit back and relax, renting a boat with a skipper can be a great option. A skipper is a licensed professional who will take care of all aspects of the boat, including navigation, safety, and docking. This option is ideal for those who want to enjoy the beauty of Gallipoli without the stress of navigating the boat themselves.

However, if you're an experienced sailor who wants the freedom and flexibility to explore the Mediterranean at your own pace, renting without a skipper can be a great option. With a bareboat rental, you'll have complete control over the boat, including navigation and docking.

Few options for yacht rentals despite the abundance of marinas. Lucky to find a good option in the end. Plenty of places to visit and good scenery, places to dine and shop. Small towns and villages further up and down the coast which can be moored at with nice scenes and great restaurants too.
