Okay, but it shows my commitment to making your life on board as pleasant as possible. - Upon departure, you will have a 160-liter water tank, 110 liters of diesel (consumption 2 L/h), and a full tank of SP95 for the Honda 4-stroke outboard motor, plus a full 2.5-liter jerrycan. - To plan and follow your navigation, you will have a Samsung Galaxy tablet with Navionics/Boating apps, including downloadable charts for Corsica and Sardinia for offline navigation, as well as Windy, Navily, marine weather, and Anchor Pro. - In one week, explore the west coast: from Ajaccio to Calvi, you will discover Cargèse, the Scandola Nature Reserve, Girolata, and so many superb and inviting coves. Overall rating
Laurent gave us a very warm welcome and provided us with useful and comprehensive information about the boat. He also gave us excellent advice on anchorages and places to go, a big thank you to him. The boat is 24 years old and in good condition for its age, regularly maintained. We were able to sail and motorize well (which works very well, is very well maintained, and consumes just over a liter per hour). With little wind and 5 out of 6 novices, the boat was perfect for getting to grips with and gaining experience. There's everything on board: several masks and snorkels, fins, fishing rods, a microwave, a pressure cooker... and sometimes it's not always in good condition. We should sort through it and leave only what's usable and useful. And leave a little more space for our belongings! The dinghy's engine is temperamental, quite heavy, and noisy. We once rowed back from the beach... and the gas can also takes up space. Why not install an electric motor? In short, a big thank you to Laurent, and a very nice boat for its age that deserves to be stripped of the superfluous.
Great sailing Great owner Very good boat
10-Day Cruise in South Corsica With a little more extensive preventative maintenance, this boat still has a bright future ahead of it. Its friendly owner has taken note of the comments we left in the logbook. Happy sailing for the next ones!
Laurent's welcome was impeccable, he took the time to explain everything to us. Very good value for money.
The owner is very attentive and very available. He was able to give very good advice. The boat is a little old but the owner is restoring it little by little.
I'll start with the positive: 1. the interior of Laurent Raphaël's sailboat has a charm that more recent sailboats don't have. It is equipped with an impressive quantity (sometimes superfluous in my opinion) of kitchen equipment. 2. Laurent Raphaël warmly welcomed me when I arrived, explained the details of his sailboat, and gave me very good advice on sailing stages. 3. Laurent Raphaël kindly prepared extra bedding for me since I had a crew change during the charter I'll continue with the negative (much heavier unfortunately): 1. The sailboat had clearly (and this was confirmed to me by Laurent Raphaël) not sailed for several months. Which probably explains why Laurent Raphaël did not notice that two nuts were missing that were supposed to hold the bolt fixing the boom to the mast, even though it is an important element for the operation and safety of the sailboat. 2. The bilge pump, announced as weak, did not work at all in reality. 3. The watertightness of the sailboat is far from perfect: a jet of water to clean the foredeck of the sailboat is enough to induce relatively low infiltrations in the saloon and quite significant in the forward cabin. To the point that the mattress became damp, to the point of collecting about twenty liters of water under the floor, to the point of finding a lot of humidity in the equipment, all this in the forward cabin. This humidity also made an electronic device unusable. 4. Some weaknesses on the leech of the foredail. 5. The ad on the site Click&Boat had disappeared well before the start of my rental. Will this review appear on the ad…. ??? This feedback seems important to me for potential future renters. It seems to me that this is the basis of the principle of Click&Boat… !!! In summary, I must admit that I was quite disappointed with the general condition of the sailboat and the service of Click&Boat. I very much doubt that I will use the services of Click&Boat again… !!! One last positive point: after having mentioned these different problems to Laurent Raphaël, he seems determined to remedy them.
Unfortunately the boat has not been maintained for too long. Laurent was absent at the handover as well as at the return. Apart from the engine and the annex, everything else needs to be reviewed or changed. The photo does not match the boat.
Boat sails well
Laurent's boat is very well equipped, for navigation as well as for cooking. Very good contact with Laurent, person available and who trusts. We spent 2 very pleasant weeks on board.
