We had a great day on the Sun 2000. It's a great boat, very playful and likes to heel. The cockpit is spacious enough to hold 3 adults and a child. In centerboard mode it's great! We can get as close as possible to the beaches for a picnic. Engine starts at four revs! It's a no-nonsense boat that we'll be renting again soon, that's for sure!

The boat deserves a good cleaning to enjoy a good day of sailing with the family. Otherwise ideal boat for the basin with its shallow draft and easy handling of on-board equipment. I rented this boat with Greg the appointed skipper to get valuable advice on the water as well as for navigation, it was great! Professional and attentive skipper, I highly recommend!!! I will happily rent again.

The boat is equipped with the minimum. However, it is a good sailboat that deserves a refresh. Caroline who takes care of the boat as manager is very friendly and available. I had a pleasant stay in the Arcachon basin with nice navigation. For navigators who do not know the basin, I recommend carefully studying the beacons, the tide times and finding out about the moving sandbanks. You have to download the e-navigation application on your smartphone, it's very practical in this maze of cardinals and laterals.

Very good navigation with the sun2000, we spent 3 mornings of great navigation, thanks to Caroline for her great welcome and information on the basin, the sailboat etc.. We also enjoyed washing it... We are thinking of re-renting it by providing moorings in different places to navigate in all the basin. Thank you Richard and Caroline

We had a great day. Arrived at the port we had a very friendly welcome from Caroline. Very clear explanations and handling of the boat. The boat is clean in good condition, super new engine !!! The navigation went very well. Sunny day . On our return Caroline was waiting for us and facilitated the return to port. Really everything is fine. To recommend and certainly an experience that we refer with pleasure. The 5 stars are deserved

Very good welcome for a very nice day on the basin. The boat is no longer very young, but does its job well for a family outing for the day or over 2 days. To do again absolutely!
Despite a slight setback due to the absence of the nanny for the engine, the problem was handled very quickly by Christine. The engine, which is not new, did not want to accelerate after 10 minutes of running. But everything is back to normal after a reboot.... Everything else is OK. The boat is properly maintained and the welcome on departure and arrival has been excellent. I recommend this boat.
Rented for Saturday, August 12, the weather announcing a day of petrol, the owner has agreed to postpone the rental to Monday 14: nice, a good point! On Mondays: sunshine, good breeze, outing in tide, return to the amount, coolers well supplied, smiles of pleasure for the crew: ideal! Appointment given by a provider sent by the owner (vacation resort abroad), port of Betay, starboard pier facing the pool, location 107. Arrived at the site, no Sun 2000 (!?) Found in the 90 (!?), Covered with sand and pine needles (!?). Boarded to clear the edges and especially the cokpit fled under a mattress of needles ... Provider arrived, turn of the boat, opening of the cabin whose floor is also silted (!?). The provider shows me the broom and the garden hose so that I can "clean the bridge" (!?). He explains the operation of the outboard: OK, starts the fuel and starts the engine that coughs and does not start (!?), It tries for half an hour, then goes away for 1 hour (!?) rent another boat (!?). Left alone, we try in vain to start with the help of the head of the captaincy. The return provider opens the bonnet, finds that the choke zipper is broken (!?), Dismantles the candles, relaunch, without success. The joy of our future navigation and the smiles gradually gave way to grimaces of disappointment and consternation! What was to be the highlight of our Gironde holidays turned into a huge disappointment ... Of course, the failure exists and can be understood as such BUT we know that mechanics requires maintenance ... We remained very courteous despite the negligence noted: the condition of the boat and no engine check, nerve of a boat, was it to sail ... Accustomed to rent sailing boats (certainly on another site!), We are always welcomed on a clean boat, engine still lukewarm of the test done before our arrival ... The last (and only) notice of a renter on this boat dates back to May 2017 ... the last use of the engine also ?? Death in the soul, we (pitifully) took our picnic on a bench, certainly, but not Arguin as envisaged ... And most importantly, since then, no call or SMS from the owner !! ??

Je navigue régulièrement sur le Bassin d'Arcachon sur mon voilier Sun 2000 depuis plus de 10 ans. Bonne expérience de ce "plan d'eau" et de ces contraintes (marée, sable...)
