Sailboat for hire with or without captain My sailboat, Jules, a Feeling 10.90, is available for charter. I usually sail with friends or family to discover the islands of Morbihan. It is a fairly spacious boat which has 3 double cabins. You will have at your disposal a small U-shaped kitchenette just before the saloon which is notably equipped with an oven and a fridge. To starboard, between the chart table and the double cabin, you will also have a small shower with pressurized hot water and WC. Its panoramic roof bathes the saloon in permanent light and promises long aperitifs... It is an absolutely ideal boat for family sailing or with your friends. I can also, if you feel like it, accompany you as captain and help you discover unusual anchorages. From Saint Goustan (Auray), Jules' home port, you can, going down the Auray river, stop at Le Bono then slip between the boats at anchor in the meanders that border Gérard D'aboville's property. to finally lengthen the pace and let go to Locmariaquer and Port Navalo before leaving the Gulf and the open sea. Then, you are free to choose your destination: - the current of the mare, to enter the Gulf leaving Gavrinis and Ile Berder to port and reach Ile aux Moines and Ile d'Arz. -The bay of Quiberon and the very chic port of la trinité sur mer. -Heading south towards the Ponant Islands: Belle ile, Houat and Hoëdic... -Head northwest towards the Island of Groix and a little further still, the Glénan archipelago.. The sailboat is in good condition and is a pleasure to sail. Upon our arrival, Brendan briefed us on the essentials and remained available if we had any questions later.
"Jules" is an older sailboat with the wrinkles that come with it! But it's perfectly suited to a family program. We arrived at low tide, which gave us time to take a good tour of the boat with Brendan, whose explanations were detailed.
The trip went superbly. Brendan kindly welcomed us at the beginning of the trip, explaining everything we needed to know about the boat. The feeling was super smooth, while remaining very comfortable. All the equipment was there. We were even able to hoist the spinnaker easily. Bendran is available and very accommodating with the schedules. I recommend him, and I will definitely rent with him again!
Brendan gave us a very warm welcome and provided plenty of explanations. The boat sails well despite the conditions, but its condition is sometimes aging (faulty lights, broken sensors, non-watertight portholes, weak auxiliary battery, etc.). Self-inflating life jackets and harnesses, as well as a sprayhood, would be appreciated.

Due to a somewhat tight departure timing linked to the tide, we had to shorten the onboarding. An idling problem (the engine stalled in neutral) upset us at the start but we were able to resolve the problem thanks to a mechanic friend. A few issues need to be resolved on Jules, a leak under the bedding of one of the aft cabins, the gas circuit needs to be brought into compliance, the sealing of the saloon porthole and the side panels so that Jules is ready for family cruises of more than a few days (in rainy weather). A little more equipment would help with family pleasure boating, the self-takers no longer hold, the winch handles are very tired and lazy jacks would help when lowering the mainsail. No surprises compared to the announcement but the absence of a windlass, an autopilot and a roof sprayhood was felt during our 2 weeks of cruising.
Thank you Brendan for your welcome and your availability. Jules is a boat as we like them, with its age but character. Perfectly adapted to our family cruise program with young children and teenagers.
Superb week spent with two families on Jules, a very seaworthy boat, easy to maneuver and very pleasant on a daily basis. Brendan was great, very nice, available and attentive. Thank you, we already want to come back!

Jules is a great boat where we felt very comfortable at 8, mid October, even when wet! Brendan and Gaelle were very accommodating with the schedules and handling the boat. Brendan is ultra reassuring, attentive and calm, which fills with serenity upon departure! Thank you very much for this great loc :)
Brendan met us at our convenience for schedules. The explanations are very clear. Brendan trusted us and helped us during our few days of navigation for the choice of ports, taking into account the tide, little practical advice during our nights... Very good experience for us. We will be back!

Great host very attentive and who takes great care to ensure that everything goes well, even during the weekend! Jules is a great boat very well thought out and which has aged well, despite a few breakdowns related to interior comfort. A great time for sailing enthusiasts looking for good value for money and a bit of adventure!
Great welcome and availability from Brendan. The boat met our expectations (roominess, height and interior light) and works very well under sail. Too bad it is not equipped with an electric windlass. It probably goes with the year the boat was built. The departure from Saint Goustan is convenient. You just have to tune in with the tides. We had a great weekend!

Excellent moments on a very good boat, comfortable, well equipped for cruising, old but very well maintained. We sailed without difficulty, 4 days as a family with 4 children, in the gulf and in the bay of Quiberon. Brendan is struggling to ensure that the rental goes as smoothly as possible and meets our expectations. I recommend without hesitation!
Perfect weekend on Brendan's sailboat, very friendly welcome and exchanges throughout the weekend, Brendan made us discover the small islands of Brittany while introducing us to sailing. Communication with Brendan is easy and he is available and accommodating. The boat is nice in navigation but we encountered several technical problems during this rental (no pressurized water, breakthrough schedule, VHF hs etc ...)

Super out, return Auray-Hoedic in the day, with a break on the island to discover this beautiful place. The sailboat is very comfortable and allowed to welcome without worries 9 colleagues. J'ai 53 ans et je vis en Bretagne depuis plus de 25 ans... J'ai acheté un premier bateau dés mon arrivée dans le Morbihan avant d'acquérir, il y a onze ans, mon nouveau voilier, Jules, un Feeling 1090. Il convient mieux à l'âge du capitaine et au programme du moment, la navigation côtière en famille nombreuse et avec les amis. J'ai appris à naviguer avec des amis skipper à bord de mon premier bateau puis par moi même par la suite... J'aime aller dans les iles environnantes (Hoedic, Groix, Belle île, île d'yeu) de jour comme de nuit seul ou en équipage... Mon plus grand bord, je l'ai tiré entre Horta (Les Açores) et Saint-Goustan. 15 jours de traversée en tant qu'équipier à bord d'un catamaran de 42 pieds, en juillet 2010. Maintenant que mes enfants ont grandi, j'ai le projet d'aller en vacances en famille en Espagne, au Portugal et en Irlande.
