The best time for a Makarska boat rental is during the summer months, from June to September, when the weather is warm and sunny with average temperatures ranging from 25-30°C. This is also the high season, so prices may be higher and popular destinations may be more crowded.

For fewer crowds and lower prices, hire a boat in Makarska in the shoulder season months, May and October. The weather is mild, with temperatures averaging around 20°C. The winds are generally light, and the seas are calm in Makarska, making it ideal for beginners and those looking for a relaxing sailing experience, no matter the season.

For a boat charter in Makarska, nestled along the picturesque Adriatic Sea, selecting the right type of boat largely hinges on personal preferences and the nature of the journey. Sailing boats are a superb choice for those who relish the thrill of harnessing the wind, blending an adventurous spirit with comfort, suitable for navigating the Dalmatian coast whether on brief excursions or more extended sails. For those in larger groups or families, catamarans present an excellent option, thanks to their dual-hull structure that ensures stability and vast deck areas for relaxation and social gatherings. The most important thing is to adapt to the wishes of the boaters, and the islands around Makarska are beautiful, so those wishes are not difficult to fulfill

Brela beach, just a few kms north of Makarska, is amazing for snorkeling, watersports and food. On Brac Island, Martinica Beach is a much cozier choice than Zlatny Rat (aka Golden Horn) - it is not as famous, but is much less crowded, while also offering lots of watersports, and it is only a few km away.

We, along with another family, had the pleasure of renting a Cap Camarat boat from 2021, and we are thrilled! The boat was in excellent technical condition, very clean, and well-equipped. The entire process of booking and picking up the boat went smoothly and without any issues. The staff was very helpful and professional. We highly recommend this rental service to anyone looking for unforgettable experiences on the water. Special thanks to Antonio for his outstanding service. We will definitely be back!

We have had a lovely afternoon with Captain Milo on one of Antonio’s boats. We were collected on time and taken to some beautiful bays on Brac for a swim. We then stopped off for a wonder round Bol where we were able to get an icecream and cold drink before heading back. Great communication throughout having only booked last minute. Would definitely recommend, everyone had a great afternoon.
