Yacht charter in Dubrovnik · Dufour 430 — Grand Large (marlera) (2019)

The boat was in good condition, even though it was 5 years old. We had no technical problems with the engine or sailing equipment. Unfortunately, the boat was not specified exactly in terms of the headsail. It is a self-tacking jib! What was a bit disappointing at first turned out to be an advantage on the way back to Dubrovnik against the south-easterly wind...we did a lot of tacking without having to operate the headsail bulkheads. The drawers in the kitchen do not stay closed so securely when the boat is heeled. They should be serviced. Enough space in the rear cabins and bow cabin. The cabin with bunk beds is very, very narrow...practically only for one small and narrow person...the upper bed can only be used as a shelf. The saloon is very bright because of the transparent deck (like a large window). Overall impression GOOD...we spent a lovely 2-week holiday on the boat and sailed a lot of distances in safety.
