Go sailing on the IJsselmeer with my Waarschip 900! The Waarschip 900 is a true family boat with a maximum of 5 berths. Ideal for a long weekend or short holiday with family or friends. On board, there is a toilet, galley, and modern navigation equipment. Located in the IJsselmeerzeilers harbor in Huizen, various sailing routes are possible. From the harbor, the sailing area covers the Randmeren, Markermeer, IJsselmeer, Hollandse Plassen, Friesland, the Wadden Sea, and the northern part of Overijssel. Standard nautical charts of the IJsselmeer region are available on board. You can rent this boat without a boating license. We do require sailing experience as a skipper on similar sailboats. Standard boarding times apply: 4:00 PM. No boarding on Sundays. Return on Sundays at 4:00 PM and the rest of the week at 12:00 PM. No boarding or return on Tuesdays. Overall rating
The Altair, a Waarschip 900, is very well-maintained and a classic. It sails very well despite its old sails and a genoa that's too small, difficult to set properly, and the guard rail is an obstacle. There's no onboard cooling, so keep that in mind when shopping. Showering is required on shore. Inside, the ship offers ample storage space and headroom! The berths are quite narrow, barely 2 meters long. The included inventory is perfect; nothing is missing; it's been well thought out. Free parking is available near the mooring. The mooring is in a quiet location in the harbor. My two daughters and I enjoyed a long sailing weekend on the Markermeer and IJsselmeer! A fun and varied sailing area with much to discover. The Waarschip 900 is perfect for this! The owners are exceptionally friendly and hospitable; we'd love to rent again!
