Emerald is a wood shark from 1950. It has all the 2015 safety equipment. - Motor on 3.5hp side chair - 2-year-old north salis sails - Genoa on storeroom - Aluminum mast and booms I invite you to send me a message before making the reservation. Not living there, I have to organize myself to be able to welcome you. He is on a dead body on the front line. We use it for a family walk or with friends for the day. No possibility of sleeping on board. On the basin it is easy to get to the argain bank, Arcachon, the bird island ... It is the boat I have always dreamed of, a superb line, it goes upwind like not much! 9.60m of beauty, boaters are not mistaken and it is not uncommon to have thumbs up in the water. We had a reeeal nice boat trip with Jerome today. The boat is in a perfect condition and it was a pleasure to sail in the bassin of Arcachon. We can really recommend the tour. Thanks again Jerome& Philipp!
Très belle journée et bonne expérience à bord du magnifique Requin de Jerome qui s'est montré réactif, patient et disponible pour nous accueillir dans les meilleures conditions.
Cette évaluation tient compte du fait que le bateau est de 1950 donc le confort correspond à l'époque bien évidemment. Le propriétaire est un homme tout à fait charmant et totalement "amoureux" de son bateau et de la voile l'ancienne. L'accueil et les explications sont de qualité. Le bateau est tout à fait conforme à un bateau des années 1950 avec un accastillage renouvelé et des voiles neuves (Enrouleur pour les voiles d'avant) Le bateau est très marin, avec les particularités des monocoques fins : performance au près très satisfaisante, allure au portant nécessitant plus de concentration. Le bateau est très rapide et bien équilibré. La navigation dans le bassin nécessite une mise à niveau des matériels spécifiques pour effectuer une navigation précise, ceci a été vu avec Jérome qui va optimiser cette partie ainsi que quelques équipements qui amélioreront le confort global du bateau. Attention les bateaux de cette époque nécessitent une bonne connaissance des manoeuvres à la voile car le moteur d'appoint n'est jamais optimal. Les manoeuvres : appontage prise de corps mort devant se faire essentiellement sous voiles. Réussir votre navigation sur ce bateau ne peut se faire sans : une visite approfondie avec le propriétaire, une très bonne maitrise des techniques de voiles. Le Bassin si vous n'en êtes pas familier impose une préparation soigneuse de la navigation. Donc marin débutant ou de faible expérience s'abstenir et prévoir d'être deux minimum à bord ayant une maitrise des manoeuvres. Au total ce bateau est un "vieux gréement" très bien conservé et entretenu, qui donne toutes les sensations et tous les plaisirs de la voile à l'ancienne, et qui est très performant sur le plan de la vitesse et du cap. Bien préparer les choses avec Jérome avant d'embarquer et ensuite que du plaisir!

We chose Jérôme to take a sailboat trip in the Arcachon basin to surprise our 8-year-old son. And I must say that everyone benefited from it. We had very good weather conditions (wind and sun) and a friendly navigator. Very nice adventure that I recommend.

A very beautiful vintage boat to take care of!
Superb shark that like all these congeners requires a certain habit. Going out with Jerome once or twice is essential to be able to maneuver the boat alone and Jerome is a patient and pleasant host.
Very welcoming, and a wonderful boat Good knowledge of sailing is necessary to properly use this shark Then, it is pure pleasure to sail and a privilege to bar this boat. Fast and powerful up close, we had a great day, The basin of Arcachon is always a very beautiful playground.
