Overall rating
Ludovic is a very friendly person and knows how to adapt to situations, which is very much appreciated. However, the boat could benefit from better maintenance. During our outing, several pieces of equipment were unfortunately not working, including: • The VHF antenna is broken • The 220V power supply is broken • The engine start/stop button is faulty • The electronic navigation equipment is broken • The anchor light is broken • The battery level indicator is faulty With a few improvements to these technical aspects, the experience would be truly excellent.
We were very disappointed with this rental: - The boat was dirty - The handling took a long time - The equipment was missing - Communication before the rental was complicated: numerous reminders to obtain a contract + bank details... - The outboard motor didn't work In short, all this for a high price! I do not recommend this rental.
A great day of sailing. Ludovic arrived a little late, but he's welcoming and willing to share. The boat isn't brand new, but it works well. It lacked a GPS, but the app on my phone made up for it. The teak on the deck and the awning are in very good condition, allowing for a great experience.
Ludovic is very available and accommodating (before and during) the rental period of his sailboat. He knows his boat inside and out and takes his time during the handover. The boat is fairly consistent with the description except for: - the navigation equipment was not functional (speedometer) - the helm and gear lever could use some mechanical improvements - the electrical system is complex but understandable with explanations There are no issues regarding the safety equipment. Note: - allow 2-3 hours for check-in + a somewhat stressful "test" harbor maneuver
Ludovic is very available and welcoming. He takes the time to explain everything you need to know about his boat. However, there are quite a few things that would deserve more in-depth maintenance in the boat, because many pieces of equipment were broken when we used it (fridge, lights, instruments). The necessary safety equipment remains in working order. Also be careful to see that the boat is attached to Frioul and not to Marseille...
We appreciated the complete explanations for handling the boat. The furling mainsail is very easy to use after Ludovic's explanations. The boat is easy and comfortable to maneuver. Ludovic was very accommodating with the schedules which we adapted to the unpredictable weather and we had an excellent weekend.
Ludovic is an excellent rental company, very clear and welcoming on his Bavaria. His briefing is very structured and allows you to take charge of a boat with which you can navigate easily.
