The rental went very well with a quick and efficient handling and return! I highly recommend Serge's boat for your next trips!
Very friendly welcome and easy boat availability in L'Estaque. The boat was available the night before, the paddle board, and the onboard electrical installation were particularly appreciated. Cleanliness could be improved (unrelated to the cleaning package), and a few small repairs would be welcome (the windlass was a bit wobbly, for example). Overall, a good experience; the boat is pleasant for 4-5 people.
- The charter and communication with Serge and Oys went well. - The boat is old and you can see it. It's in good working order, but the equipment is starting to deteriorate. The running rigging needs maintenance. - The autopilot works well. - The tender is new. - The self-tacking jib is appreciated. - Every other stand-up paddleboard is in good condition. - There are no marine charters on the boat, no paper or plastic. - The price for "mandatory final cleaning" = €200 - is too high. It corresponds to ten hours of work paid at €20/hour.
Very well received by Erick, nice boat and very easy to handle at sea/in port, well equipped (kitchen, paddle, annex) and prepared when we picked it up (the night before, practical!). The "sailing" equipment could be a little more recent/better maintained and the boat was not very clean when we picked it up without a water jet to easily wash it. A very good week overall.
The handling of the boat is easy. The Hanse has a self-tacking Solent which makes all the maneuvers easier. The boat is very comfortable for a 10m. There were 5 of us, that's the maximum limit. Sailing to Port Cros round trip in 5 days. The handling with Serge went very well. He deserves his title of "super owner". Very nice and organized. In the boat everything is well stored in clearly identified bags. The only downside is that there is no shower on the deck. We were a little surprised. Finally, the name of the boat "MABITE" attracts the sympathy of all the people we met. The cleanliness of the cabin is a little fair. But nothing too serious, we live outside in August.

Great stay and Serge was very pleasant and accommodating. Small problem with the windlass remote control which had run out of battery (so we had to raise the anchor by hand) and with the shore power cable, it didn't work so it was impossible to connect to dock. Over a weekend it wasn't terribly disturbing but that explains the 3 stars for the level of maintenance and value for money.
We had a pleasant stay on Serge's boat, well equipped to live comfortably on board. The welcome, by Eric, very pleasant and easy. A little minus for the name of the sailboat ("Mabite"), not easy to carry when you have to announce yourself at the port.... A big plus for Nespresso on board? We won't hesitate to return to Serge's boat!
Serge is very friendly and gives good advice on how to easily take charge of your sailboat. He is available for any questions. The boat is in excellent condition, clean and well equipped. It is easy to maneuver, both under sail and under motor. We will come back !
Serge is a very friendly owner and he knows his boat perfectly, which is very useful for those who sail on a boat they do not know. We had a great weekend aboard this great sailboat with an atypical name. Under sail, it proved to be extremely efficient and for motor maneuvers, agile and responsive. I recommend this boat without reservation and will rent it again with great pleasure.
Everything can only be perfect with the welcome and support given to us by Serge and Patricia. On their sailboat, we had a wonderful stay because the services offered were completely in line with our expectations.
Excellent week aboard a very well equipped boat (one point for improvement: having nautical charts on board). Some understandable technical problems given the age of the boat: windlass, depth sounder, defective water evacuation. Serge was easily reachable and responsive to resolve these concerns.
We had a great stay on Serge's boat. The boat is in excellent condition and was perfectly suited to our 4-person sailing program, comfortable and sufficiently efficient. Very nice little extras like the Nespresso machine or the barbecue :) Contact with Serge was very easy and pleasant and he was always immediately available when we had questions. In short: great!
