Yacht charter in Primošten · Dufour — 350 Grand Large (2017)

We left for a month and the boat was absolutely not prepared for it. From the start, the owner told us that there would be no check-in or inventory and proudly announced "You must trust us!". Lifelines missing, useless tethers because the foam life jackets had no attachment point. We took the gennaker option at €400. The sail had holes in multiple places and nothing to repair it. The owner had told us that we could check it at sea... Once at sea it was our responsibility of course. Before our departure, everything had been "checked" according to them... Fortunately, I noticed before departure that we had nothing to attach the tack of the gennaker... Which we would not use during the stay because it had holes. The gennaker was put back in its bag with the original holes at the end of the stay by the manager... The owner is keeping it for the next ones, announcing to us "you see there are no holes!". Good luck to you next ones, the gennaker has holes! We were repeatedly attacked on the phone throughout the stay. Especially because we dared to tell them that half of the gas bottles were not the right size for the compartment provided for the bottles and in any case the other half was given almost empty... Too bad because the boat was very clean and the whole team was lovely and very helpful except for the dock manager (of the agency?) who is odious. But we were only in contact with him! Move on and go see any other sailboat charter company in Croatia. (I'll skip the quality of the paper charts, the bearing compass, the "Cras rule" which probably date from the 18th century).
