Overall rating
Very friendly, authentic little boat, great for a short sail in the bay of Quiberon and complete autonomy.
4-day charter of this superb First 25, very well maintained and perfectly equipped (new mainsail / inflatable dinghy / kitchen equipment). It faithfully took us to Belle-Ile and Houat and performed very well in light airs as well as in heavy waves. Arthur was very accommodating in handing us the keys the day before and allowing us to enjoy our vacation. The minor flaws in my opinion: The genoa, which is starting to show its age, and the engine taking a bit of time to start from cold. In any case, I highly recommend this boat and its owner.
Very good. Arthur is great. Excellent.
We rented Arthur's boat for two days, departing from Port Haliguen to Le Palais. The vessel is well-equipped, with everything you need for safety and navigation. There were three of us on board, and the interior space is pleasant, even in the rain! Very good communication with Arthur and his partner, thank you for organizing the trip :)
Great stay on this well-maintained First 25! Arthur is very accommodating and communicates well. The monohull moves well, is easy to maneuver in port, and is more suited to sport sailing than coastal cruising. The boat also has a year-round berth at the old Halligen harbor, which is convenient for loading/unloading/the first night if you pick up the boat at the end of the day. Note a slight problem with the water pump, which was unavailable during the four days. It takes two people to properly use the anchor (which only has 10m of chain + 20m of rope), and ideally, use the autopilot for certain maneuvers if there are only two of you on board (e.g., lowering the mainsail and folding it properly). Otherwise, the area is very beautiful (Belle Ile / Houat / Hoedic) and I recommend it for a long weekend! Thanks again, Arthur, for the welcome ?
The boat is as advertised and runs very well at all speeds. Ideal for cruising in southern Brittany! Arthur is a very friendly and responsive person. We highly recommend him!
We rented Arthur's First with friends and it was great! The boat is spotless, you feel safe at all speeds and what a pleasure to sail upwind at the helm! Arthur is very accommodating and available, I highly recommend.
We spent a fantastic week aboard the First 25 "Armen," departing from Quiberon. As a couple, we had the pleasure of sailing around the islands of Belle-Île, Houat, Hoëdic, and Groix. Arthur did everything he could to make our experience unforgettable: seamless communication, expert advice, and a boat ready to sail. Despite its age, the First 25 remains a modern, very well-maintained, and, above all, high-performance sailboat. It offered us superb sailing experiences... so much so that it was difficult to leave! We highly recommend this charter to anyone looking to discover the region in excellent conditions.
Hello everyone 3-day charter, Belle-Ile, Hoedic, Houat. The boat is safe, easy to handle, and well-maintained. The interior and exterior spaces are very spacious, and the owner is friendly. Everything you need to really get going and enjoy a superb playground! A little encouragement to improve the small galley, and it's perfect for 2/3 passengers! Antoine
Great welcome, great boat, thank you Arthur!
