Pros: - The boat had a relatively modern interior, and the GPS and autopilot worked very well. - Plenty of space up top. - With two oars, very good control at high angles. - The canopy was huge; we've never had such good sun protection. - There was a separate fuel canister for the dinghy. - There's a permanent berth in the marina. - A large boat for the price. - The engine's fuel efficiency is incredible (but practically every sailing yacht has one anyway - a Volvo Penta 55kW). - Communication was very easy via WhatsApp. - There was a very large medical pack on board... truly exemplary in size. Cons: - Maintenance status: - The refrigerator unexpectedly broke down for a day on day 3... 2 kg of food had to go in the trash because of it. - The canopy was already at its worst, and certain parts were close to tearing. - The refrigerators were generally rather poor. Compared to traditional chest refrigerators, they take longer to cool and offer less space, despite being so large. - Securing the anchor winch is relatively easy. So, pulling in 40m of anchor chain at once is rarely possible. You have to take short breaks, and the chain should point vertically downwards as much as possible. - EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL deposit!!! Reserving the deposit on your credit card is perfectly normal. But why do I also have to write ALL my credit card information on a piece of paper, which then lies around the office? This is extremely insecure from a data protection perspective. If someone takes a photo, they can use my card to buy anything online. I don't understand why. Did they have the card terminal that reserved the amount? Alternatively, you can deposit it in cash, but then you have to wait a very long time for a diver to finish inspecting the boat. Our vacation was a hit, but the company has room for improvement, especially with the deposit and the refrigerators.
