Motorboat Örnvik Cabin 490 50hp
A delicious and very good boat for wonderful and relaxed day trips in Brandenburg, e.g.: Rummelsberger Bucht, Treptow, Köpenick, Wannsee, Müggelsee, Havel, Tegler See etc. The boat has a 50 HP engine, so a boating license is required. It is ideal for day trips and family trips. Good seating, a table can be set up and you can retreat to the small cabin for a nap. In the event of an unexpected rain shower, the Bemini sunroof can usually provide great protection. Up to 4 adults can travel comfortably (max. 5). Very good life jackets are available for smaller children, among other things. We also spent the night on board! If you want to book more than 2 days, we can also talk about the price. It is equipped with the usual equipment for a boat of this size for pleasant, reliable and safe trips. There is also an anchor and a folding ladder for lots of bathing fun. The motorboat charter was a great experience with Guido. He is friendly, honest, flexible and responsive. The boat works well for the Berlin water ways. The engine is strong enough for getting the boat into gliding and given the speed limit on Teltow canal (10 km/h) and Wannsee (25 km/h) the boat can be run in a good rpm range. We were 2 adults and 3 children and went swimming to Wannsee.

Ein tolles Boot
Exactly what we imagined, great value for money! We took a day trip to Wannsee, had a quick swim, and a snack. You can usually make it to the Großer Wannsee and the Pfaueninsel (Peacock Island). But we were lucky that we hardly had to wait at all at the Kleinmachnow lock (which is why we recommend going on Sunday). Guido is super nice, and everything went smoothly. We'd love to go again!
We had a lovely day on the water. Guido is a friendly owner, and the drop-off and return were smooth. Fuel consumption was billed fairly. The boat worked perfectly technically, but could use a little TLC here and there. We took a trip to Müggelsee, which is easily doable in one day.
The contact was great. The charter company was very relaxed and incredibly friendly. We had a wonderful day on the water towards Wannsee. Next time we'll head east to Müggelsee. Thanks Guido!!!

Unfortunately, when we arrived, the boat was not ready to go and it wouldn't start, so we weren't able to rent it! The person present was more than irritating in my eyes and said that it wasn't that bad. It was, and as a customer, I can assume that the technology will be tested before the handover, because that meant half a Saturday of valuable free time was lost! In addition, the boat was in a rather "unkempt" condition, the screw on the motor had significant damage to every blade. When we arrived, a lady quickly carried a bicycle off the boat. I haven't yet received a refund for the rental fee I've already paid, so I'm still waiting with bated breath.
The landlord was kind enough to agree to arrange an alternative date with him. We will do that! On the actual rental day, June 22, 2024, the weather conditions were bad. Many thanks to Guido for his goodwill!

Nice owner. Handover was relaxed and went smoothly, as did the return at the end of the rental period. The boat is ideal for lovely (day) tours on the waters of Berlin. With the cabin you could even theoretically spend the night on the boat. Just for your information (no judgement): for a section of the Spree you need a VHF radio and a radio operator's license in spring and autumn; you should always keep this in mind when planning your tour.

Früher bin ich aufgewachsen in ein Wasserreiche Region. Ich war oft Co-Kapitän von Opa und danach öfter der Skipper auf Touren mit Freunde. Mittlerweile darf ich 'Kapitän' sein für unser schönes kleines Kabinenboot. Ich liebe das man mit Bootfahren einmal komplett raus ist aus den Alltag und die Welt aus der Wasserperspektive zu erkunden.
