Hello, I offer for hire without a captain this superb 5.5m boat, ideal for families with its cabin which allows you to store equipment or take a nap in the shade and in peace. At the front on the deck, a sun bath is present, while behind the aft bench seat are two swimming downspouts. The boat is recent and well maintained to ensure fun on the water. The latest generation 100 horsepower 4-stroke silent engine allows economical day trips. Count 13 L / h cruising at 20 knots, and 31 L / h full throttle for 34 knots top speed. The on-board computer will show you your instantaneous consumption in l / h. The boat will be taken from the port of Carro. The boat is supplied with a full tank of gasoline. Refueling will have to be refilled when returning to port (for a day trip, depending on the load and use, between 25 and 45 liters of SP95 should be counted). The boat is as advertised except for the shower which no longer exists. Philippe is very accommodating and friendly.
Aging boat. Problem with the order, already seen on a review from July 2024. Too bad the boat doesn't have a place at the port of Carro, as listed in the ad.... we had to wait for Philippe to take the boat to us from Sausset. The boat arrived without a full tank and late, and we paid an amount for fuel that seems arbitrary to me... Average for a rental of 2 consecutive days.
The welcome and discussion with Philippe is great, he explains everything on the boat very well. The boat is "correct" but is becoming "old" in terms of comfort, the rear seat is no longer very padded and you can feel the fittings through it... the throttle control should be refined because its handling is a little delicate, especially at maneuvers... the engine is a charm of smoothness, very economical and can be powerful... very beautiful day on a capricious Mediterranean, especially late in the afternoon. I nevertheless recommend Philippe for the person he is and his boat even if it deserves a little updating (GPS, depth sounder, etc.).
We had good communication with Philippe. Regarding the boat there was a very strong smell of gasoline and the speed control is not precise because the boat accelerates without touching it. Maintenance seems necessary
