MIZAR III is a fascinating 10-meter vintage motoryacht entirely made of wood by Cantieri Navali Picchiotti of Viareggio in 1961 and launched in 1962. An extremely comfortable cabin cruiser equipped with a large cockpit with table and seats, an agreable sundeck in the bow with mattresses and cushions, a large dinette with a table that can be converted into bunks, a 2-seater master cabin, kitchenette and bathroom. The boat, the first and only of its kind on Lake Como, accommodates up to 10 people, besides the crew. We will sail in maximum comfort, at a cruising speed of 10 knots in order to calmly enjoy the beauties of Lake Como. We offer tours from a minimum of 1 hour up to a full day, we have special packages for happy hours, evenings, parties and events of all kinds. I booked this boat for a group I am chaperoning. They all loved the experience and thought Giovanni was a fantastic guide. He pointed out fun facts about various areas of the lake and was very accommodating, providing drinks and snacks for them as well. His boat was gorgeous and pretty comfortable for my group of 10!
We (the family group) spent a great day with Giovanni on his boat. He was very kind with everyone in my party, with a special care and attention to the little kids, who were delighted with experiences on board like “driving” the boat… Something to fondly remember in my family.

A gracious welcome. Prosecco. Escort from the front gate. Books on the villas. All questions answered. Snacks. Then more snacks. Then more snacks. Coordination with the lunch restaurant of our choice, after Plan A and Plan B failed. Separate transport from the boat to the restaurant. Warm blankets when the sun disappeared. Gentle assistance on and off the boat when stiffness kicked in from 17,000 steps the day before. Giovanni earns his super host status, along with he help of his friend’s daughter, Katerina. A spectacular day on Lake Como, worth every penny.

Giovanni and his wife were the best. We rented their boat twice during our stay and his flexibility was great for rescheduling to a day with the best weather. They provided drinks and appetizers and told us about the famous sites on Lake Como. Would 100% rent with Gio again. His boat was very sizable and fit our large group too.
