This incredible stretch of coast is accessible only by sea, making it a peaceful and picturesque spot. • Destination: the incredible ruins of the 16th-century Torre di Castiglione, where you can admire a rocky coastline and swim or snorkel above a white sandy seabed. You can also dive into a unique bay and enjoy an invigorating swim where the cool spring water meets the warm sea, with a temperature difference of 5-6°C and beautiful color gradations. Breakfast on board with coffee and the typical Salento "Pasticciotto". • Return south to Torre Lapillo, where the sea is always calm. Lunch cooked on board with excellent wine. • Nearby, you can snorkel and visit the statue of the Madonna dei Navigatori. It represents the Virgin Mary and was placed 3.5 meters underwater after the sinking of the Costa Concordia cruise ship in 2012. Another stop is near Torre Lapillo, where you can snorkel at the site of the statue of the Madonna dei Naviganti. Here, a statue of the Virgin Mary lies submerged at a depth of approximately 3.5 meters. We'll sail south again toward Torre della Chianca, stopping at the archaeological site of the Greco-Roman Columns. These ancient and enormous archaeological finds in pink marble also lie submerged at a depth of approximately 3.5 meters. They date back to 200 BC and are perfectly visible from aboard the vessel, or you can admire them while snorkeling at the surface.
