I want to clarify that my review is based on the rental experience with Rumbo Norte rather than the owner. I don't know if Kylian is the owner, but when I raised the issue I encountered with the rental agency with him, I never received a response. In short, the boat is less than averagely maintained. We had already rented it last year, and in the space of a year, the boat's overall condition has deteriorated dramatically. (Radio antenna no longer held and hinders getting back into the boat, trim tab not working, footrest not holding, anchor access panel not securely attached. In short, small repairs that would not take long to fix but are not done a priori in an effort to rent as much as possible and the boat is also not in a good state of general cleanliness since it was not washed between rentals. And not to mention that the tank was not filled when we took the boat in the morning and we lost an hour to leave the port…). As for the problem we encountered: we reported at the end of the rental that the second attachment of the anchor access panel had broken since the first one was already broken when we took the boat in the morning (not visible when we took it in hand but when we used it once we left the port). We reported it in the evening when we returned but no one at the dock to check out. We only knew that some staff from the charter agency were on a sailboat at the dock, but they didn't want to come and check the problem and told us to leave the keys in the boat, with a checkout that wouldn't be done until the next morning since they had finished their workday... We did tell them, and several other people, that this problem wasn't due to our use of the boat, but rather to the fact that the fasteners were already weakened. Despite all that, they indicated on the checkout (which we didn't sign since they did it themselves) that we had sailed with the hatch open and that's why the fasteners broke... ? Result: €135 taken from our deposit! So, a very bad charter agency that apparently must have changed managers since last year. In 2024, Pablo was great and very helpful. Since he left, nothing has gone right, and they're even using false statements on checkouts to extract money from tenants! A dishonest agency to avoid, because when you ask for answers, they're impossible to get.

It was a great experience! We all had a great time, it exceeded our expectations.
