We spent a week on the Iselmar and received a very warm and friendly welcome. Due to the previous tenants' late return, we had to wait a little longer than planned, but that wasn't a big deal. However, it was noticeable that the cleaning also had to be done quickly. For example, it took a day to air out the smoke smell. The boat itself is in good condition for its age and, apart from a few minor defects such as a leaky drain in the kitchen, is in good condition. Unfortunately, all cleaning utensils, from the toilet brush to the hand broom, were missing, except for the vacuum cleaner. But even a seasoned camper can handle that. All in all, after a short period of settling in, we had a wonderful adventure. One more note about skipper training, without including it in the evaluation here: Here, you learn a few basics: forward, astern, mooring sideways, and a lot of theory on water charts, bridges, etc. However, you are not prepared for critical situations, such as mooring backward into a stall in strong winds. It's important to prepare for everything well in advance and to clearly assign tasks, which was somewhat neglected. So, it helps to familiarize yourself with various situations and maneuvers in advance.

We had a great stay. One bedroom is too small for adults, more suitable for children.

The boat is in good condition. The landlords were very friendly and really helped us out because someone else canceled 1 day before the rental started. The price was a bit steep, of course. We had the boat for 3 days and the rental company was not able to drop a day from the rental. It's a shame they aren't more flexible. All in all, it's great. Jens Klaus
