A high tech trimaran, high performance, foldable in port, fun, irresistible. A top-of-the-range trimaran of the year 2018, exhibited at the Grand Pavois, 4 examples of this model currently in France. Very well equipped boat: asymmetric spinnaker, code 0, solar panels, wave-piercing bows ... Reasonably up to 3 people can be embarked in addition to the skipper. It combines comfort and speed (more than twenty-two knots at maximum speed). Rental only with the owner-skipper. Coastal program.

Exceptional sailboat, very well maintained. A welcoming, open-minded skipper with excellent advice, who did everything he could to ensure our weeklong cruise went smoothly.
Access to such a unit being limited, a big thank you to Alexis for sharing this great experience with us on his Dragonfly 28 P. The possibilities of testing a Dragonfly “performance” version are rare and few in number on the market. It is a very technical unit which requires a skipper. Alexis owns his tool well and knows how to share the sensations it provides. The time lent itself to almost complete tests to assess the performance of the DG28 (its paddling matches its renowned plumage), a very physical sports version, in light weather and in steady winds of 15/20 knots. Guaranteed sensations and I will keep quiet about the indecent speeds and averages achieved, to tickle Master Cock... Very friendly, level-headed skipper, available, attentive, knowing the reasonable limits of his trimaran. For comfort, we are on a 28 footer with well thought out comfort for its size.
Overall it went very well. There were 3 of us, my partner, who didn't move too much so as not to be sick. She was a little moved. A friend who loves sailing and who was active. Alexis is very welcoming and very pleasant and you immediately feel at ease. Regarding navigation, in fact it is necessary that one of the minimum crew members be experienced and with good physical strength as has already been said by David who was a Renter of the trimaran previously. I got up to speed well, as "the crew member with a bit of dinghy experience for a few years in my youth" and our friend with us who was also resourceful enough to help us set up the mainsail or tacks. board, for example, because we had all the weather in three days. It would also be interesting to think about looking at all that is safety, in case that is to say to explain to us how to use a VHF radio in the event of a problem because on the ocean, there are no more telephone network, which is normal. We had a small engine problem near the arrival at the port of La Rochelle and this is what made us aware of this by calling the harbor master's office with the mobile phone because I did not know how to use V HF. It would have been nicer to give us more info on navigation so that we could participate by understanding a little more of ourselves, rather than receiving instructions. Great day playing hide and seek with the squalls between the Ile de Ré bridge and Fort Boyard with runs at 16-17 knots. Alexis is both reassuring and ready to leave the helm to anyone who feels ready to tame the beast. The boat gives off an impression of power, robustness... and lightness at the same time and seems to be able to adapt to all conditions, from bright sunshine to the paddock: enough to have fun in all circumstances.

These 2 days (and 2 nights) of sailing with Alexis were excellent. We were able to explore multiple areas of DF 28, including 17 constant nodes for example! Alexis is very nice and open, finding the right balance to teach us to know the peculiarities of the boat while giving us the initiative. Thank you Alexis and long live the DF and the region around LR, a large playground and discovery area. The rental price also depends on the rarity of this type of boat and its extraordinary performance! -)
