The Capelli 23 boat is considered among the best open boats in its category, for comfort, space, safety. Equipped with a powerful Honda 200 hp, it offers customers large sunbathing areas, awning, courtesy shower, fridge, USB sockets, electric windlass with double bow control and driving console. I purchased this boat last year to offer greater comfort to passengers but above all safety and ease of access to isolated beaches. The Gulf of Poets offers ample opportunities for guided tours both for the beauty of the coast and for the uniqueness of the sea, where the mountain plunges with splendid rocks. We recommend seeing places like Lerici, San Terenzo, Tellaro, Portovenere, Palmaria Island, Tino Island, Tinetto Rock with the statue of the Madonnina Punta Bianca, the RED Cliffs and the Canneto Bay as well as many small gravel beaches with crystal clear water. Access to the 5 Terre is limited to a few dozen boats with hybrid engines and with more expensive rates. I DO NOT HAVE the authorization for the 5 Terre, but I propose equally valid alternatives. The Byron Cave in a cove below the church of San Pietro is very fascinating. The Palmaria Island offers, in addition to the famous Pozzale beach, 2 bays that face west. They are spectacular for the silence and the flight of the sea birds that nest there as well as enjoying a view of the sunset up to the French coast. The boat is located at the Darsena del Levante (Molo Pagliari) right next to the Cantieri SANLORENZO in La Spezia. Even though I am a Tuscan who moved to Liguria and have seen many marine areas in Italy and elsewhere (sub Dive Master), I discovered natural beauties that I had never imagined and which I never tire of calling "unique".

Allesandro was an amazing captain. Even when one of our friends got sick he was quick to accommodate and improvise. He took us to some great locations to cruise and snorkel. We even saw an octopus! Even though there was a language barrier we could quickly see what a wonderful and kind person he is.
We had a wonderful trip with Alessandro. We were 5 people on the Boat and took a trip along the coast with beautiful views of different villages and lots of swimming opportunities. We had a great time and would definately recommend him and his boat.
We had a wonderful time in Alessandro’s boat. He was easy to communicate with ahead of time and was very accommodating of changes related to weather. Can’t recommend him and this experience enough!
My friends and I had a lovely time on Alessandro’s boat. He was super responsive during the time leading up to the booking and understanding and flexible with timing. During the boat tour he was flexible with our groups needs and happy to do swimming stops. He also had a stand up paddle board, fridge and speaker for us to use which was great The scenery was beautiful and it was nice having a private tour. I would definitely recommend Alessandro and his boat!
Alessandro was absolutely wonderful! My wife and I booked his charter for our honeymoon, and we had the best time!! It was our favorite day of the trip! Alessandro was extremely friendly and helpful, while also giving us space to relax and enjoy the gorgeous scenery. He provided as part of the charter excellent focaccia, pizza, chips, and wine. He brought us to excellent scenic locations and great places to swim. He provided snorkeling equipment and great floaties. He was extremely friendly the entire time, and when my wife got seasick he did a great job making the ride as smooth as possible. We will 100% be booking with Alessandro again next time we are in Italy!! Also, the value for money is amazing, extremely well priced, partly due to the location being just south of cinque terre vs in cinque terre where it is more regulated. Having also been to cinque terre the natural beauty was just as strong where we were, and there were several adorable towns we got to see. Alessandro also brought us to this excellent island with a great restaurant for lunch. Throughout the charter the other folks we saw all seemed to be locals, and it was never too crowded. Again, I cannot emphasize enough how kind and capable Alessandro was! We look forward to next time!
Alessandro è stato uno skipper fantastico! Let me write the rest in English for the benefit of the non-Italians 😉 Alessandro took us for a half-day tour to see Porto Venere and Tellaro (known as the 6th terra because it's so similar to the Cinque Terre, which are overrated and impossible to enjoy in July!) He's working hard to improve his English and is great at explaining even when he doesn't have all the words 😊 He brought us fresh grapes and water, even lent us towels. Highly recommended!!
We had a great day on the boat. Alessandro is a great host and he showed us some really beautifull places around La Spezia Area. If you want to rent a boat you should definitly consider Alessandro!

Allesandro picked us up in Portovenere and took us to wonderful spots(beaches, vibes, cavesl ) near Portovenere and a long the coast, as well as around Palmaria Island Nature Park. He knew the best swimming/snorkeling spots, caves, etc and we just had such a nice, peaceful, and inspiring day with him enjoying the beauty of coastal Liguria. Grazie Allesandro!

We had the BEST day ever with Alessandro exploring the beautiful coast near Porto Venere and the islands too. He was so kind (especially when my mum was got a bit seasick) and just overall a great guide and skipper for our trip. He showed us some unforgettable places and it was just such a special day for us. He is super easy to communicate with and the arrangement of the trip was perfect! We were also able to borrow snorkel equipment which was such a bonus for us and were given delicious strawberries on board also. In terms of value for money- this is excellent, such a reasonable price point for a brilliant day. If you are looking to see some really cool bits of coast that are often overlooked due to the Cinque Terre hype then please book this- Alessandro is great!!
Alessandro was the best! He was very knowledgeable of the area, and took us to the best spots. He was very kind, had cold water for us, and was very flexible in doing what we wanted to do. He even had snorkeling goggles & floating tubes for use! I would recommend Alessandro to anyone!!
Alessandro was the best host! He was extremely knowledgeable of the area and we didn’t really know where we wanted to go so he made the whole itinerary for us! He even brought one of our group members back to the port (due to sunburn) early, no questions asked. This was the best boating experience we could’ve asked for!

The owner was extremely helpful and incredibly kind, always making sure we had a great time. He showed us some magnificent spots, gave us great explanations about the area, and showed real flexibility to ensure the experience was perfect. The boat is high-quality, very comfortable, and equipped with games that delighted the children, not to mention the paddleboarding, which added a fun touch to the outing. The icing on the cake: a delicious homemade focaccia, generously offered. A big thank you for this unforgettable experience – we highly recommend this experience, which was friendly, enriching, and full of thoughtful touches!

Beautiful experience, between fun and absolute relaxation. There were 5 of us girls for our friend's hen party. Alessandro the fantastic skipper, friendly, super helpful, welcomed all our needs of any kind. He offered us lots of fresh water and delicious fruit. We visited beautiful places that we would never have been able to visit if not by boat. He put inflatables at our disposal to relax even in the water. Absolutely RECOMMENDED! TOP quality price!
We had a wonderful afternoon. Alessandro was kind and professional and adapted to our needs (stops, places to take pictures, etc.) We also appreciated the fact that we could bring our dog. Since he also showed us Tellaro, we went over the time, but he did not want to charge us for the extra time spent on us. We will definitely come back and book with him.
