Muito ligado ao mar, com mente aberta e divertido. Tem mais do 30 anos experiência. Iniciado na vela em 1985 na Escola de Vela do Clube de Vela de Lagos. Oficial de Regata desde 2000. Carta de Patrão de Costa. Fala e escreve Inglês. Esteve envolvido em organizações de regatas de grande nível, das quais se destacam o Mundial da ISAF de classes olímpicas, que se realizou em Cascais em 2007, na qualidade de Chefe de Campo, bem como no Troféu de Portugal do Circuito Audi Medcup da classe TP52 em 2007 e 2008, na qualidade de “Local Expert”. Competidor em vela de cruzeiro desde 1998 tendo desempenhado desde aí funções de trimmer, navegação e táctico. A sua experiência passa por navegar em barcos sportsboats, cruzeiro-regata e barcos de regata, nas classes IRC, IMS, RN e Monótipos, em projetos de renome, como se destacam Cidade de Lagos (1998-2001), Cidade de Portimão (2002), Quebramar (2003-2007) e AXA / Multi (2008). Nos últimos 11 anos desempenhou funções de sócio gerente da empresa Southwest Charters, uma empresa de aluguer de barcos, organização de eventos náuticos e centro de formação náutico reconhecido pela entidade britânica RYA.
