Fantastic organisation, they pick you up very fast, you get the route restrictions explanations. You can find ice boxes and also ice very useful if you spend all day in the sun. On the route there are several rescue boats which are helping you with everything if needed. They escort you out from the marina and also back when you return, very useful when you are a beginner but a little annoying if you are able to do it anyway. It was very nice at return to find that you can take a shower and change your clothes. Also good recommendations to eat nearby. Over all it was a nice experience, I would do it again anytime.

Highly recommend very professional service

Very experienced and professional team around "latchiwatersportscentre.com". My mid-October renting request has been quickly confirmed, a couple of questions answered. It looks like "Watersport" is (almost) the only company who is renting motor boats *without* a skipper on Cyprus! On the renting day, formalities and introduction went quickly. We were shown several photos of Akamas-area bays and rocks/islands, given some DO's and DONT's. After we (family of 4 persons) boarded, our skipper navigated the bout just out of Latchi harbour and has been collected by "Watersport" vessel, so that we could start our full day of enjoyment along Akamas coast incl. Blue Lagoon. Really wonderfull experience! During the day, "Watersport" crew in their rubber boat visited us 2-3 times, just asking if we are OK or in a need of any help or support. Bringing the boat back was easy as well, as "Watersport" skipper came on-board just in front of Latchi harbour and navigated our boat to his berth, for us to leave comfortably with our stuff. That was for the good, but be aware of the following... As I am the owner of a nautical license, I expected to be able to navigate the boat around Latchi waters, use my experience. That is not foreseen: one should stay in Akamas area, close to the coastal line and only visit bays shown during introduction. OK - I was a bit disappointed, but well - the weather was very nice, so we spent the most of our day swimming and enjoying the sun. The other thing is the equipment on board... When I first found "Watersport" offer for Marinello Eden 26, I used Google to find more technical details on that vessel. "Watersport" description was somehow too short... My error: it turned out that, compared to standard vessel, "Watersport" version of Eden 26 did not have: fridge, gas/alcohol cooker, depth sounder nor any other navigation equipment. Following equipment was there, but not working: petrol gauge (dead), compass (broken), 12V-socket (broken), toilet sink (pipes cut off) Also, as we were not given a detail coastal map, my recommendation: ask for copies of photos shown during introduction (or use your smartphone/camera to photograph those). Without maps and/or navigation equipment, these may be your only "helping hands" - if no "Watersport" crew in their rubber boat is around to guide you. Akamas coast line is very rocky!
