Hello, I am renting out my boat for a day or half day, it is a Yahctline semi-rigid It is fully equipped with a new tube and seat, it sails very well It is approved for 11 people but 8 to 9 is not bad, all safety equipment and vests are provided as well as the GPS sounder, the boat is not equipped for towing The rental does not include fuel. Great, we had a great time, the boat was enough for an afternoon, it would deserve thicker mattresses... but otherwise, great, thanks to Nicolas
The day on the boat went well overall, but we were disappointed by several points. The boat is advertised for 8 people, but luckily there were only 5 of us because the space is quite small. On the return trip, we had a big problem: the boat was barely moving. After contacting the owner, he told us to put more weight at the front, but that didn't change anything. We then discovered that the hold was full of water, which hadn't been mentioned or explained, and we didn't know how to empty it. As a result, a return trip that should have taken 15 minutes lasted over 1.5 hours, and fuel consumption must have been much higher because of this problem. Finally, upon our arrival, the rental manager was over 45 minutes behind schedule, and we had to wait for him at the port. It's a shame, because the setting is still pleasant, but the organization and follow-up could be improved.
