Boat Without Licence Italmar Mistral 17 40hp
Rental of a beautiful 5.50 meter boat with a capacity of 5 people and a 40/60 mercury 4-stroke engine. The boat is equipped with comfortable bow and stern cushions and awning, very comfortable for families and groups of friends With this boat it is possible to visit the wonderful islands of the Maddalena archipelago and Corsica independently. In order to rent this boat it is not necessary to have a boat license. The cost of fuel is not included in the price (€ 2.5 litre) CREDIT CARD REQUIRED ** Security Deposit Policy ** Our vehicles are provided with liability insurance against third parties, but do not have Hull/Kasko insurance. The security deposit is therefore indicative and covers minor damages. In the event of damages for a cost exceeding the amount of the deposit, it will be necessary to integrate it to cover the entire amount of the damage. everything was good, there you have to pay 10 Euro extra for the national parc and fuel was around 30 liters. 1L=2.5€
So… despite the communication with folks on shore was friendly and smooth, rental experience was not good. As previous renters mentioned, throttle control was working very bad. It has being broken some time ago and fixed by tape (not even blue one)… as the result - it was sooo hard to set speed any between idle and full trottle. Unfortunatelly, I can’t recommend this boat 😓
All good, nice experience but very rude lady at the desk for check in/out. She forced us to leave our physical ID card, which is not legal and obviously we had left the deposit as agreed. Other than that all went well

Really bad experience, They lend us a boat that was not working propertly we couldn’t speed because the boat kept shutting down so we couldn’t visit all the places we wanted. On the way back they come to rescue us and didn’t offer any solution

It was my first time as a “captain” of a motorboat. Fabrizio gave me all the instructions I needed to enjoy a pleasant journey through the beautiful spots in Sardinia ! I strongly recommend renting his boat and have this amazing experience !
I can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our experience!! It was totally seamless. The boat was perfect for the two of us and we got to spend hours with a skipper going around La Maddalena. They took us to all the best swimming spots. We brought our own food and towels with us and were all set!! The friendliest staff ever.

Good contact, nice boat, and beautiful surroundings, lovely beaches. If you don't have experience sailing at sea, be aware of the wind. We had wind force 4, but there were waves of 1.5 to 2 meters. Otherwise, highly recommended.

At first, it was a hassle to find the right spot with the boat we rented, which cost us an hour and a half. The boat itself wasn't in the best condition, and the engine frequently misfired while sailing.
Smell of gasoline. Cost of gasoline €2.50/liter instead of €1.76. Otherwise, impeccable welcome.
We arrived promptly at 9:00 a.m. to pick up the boat – as did many other people. Since there was only one person handling the reservations, the actual pick-up of the boat was delayed by about 40 minutes. Nevertheless, the boat had to be returned promptly at 5:00 p.m. We also had to pay a service fee on site, which wasn't advertised beforehand. The fuel costs after the tour were, in my opinion, very high (approximately €55) and non-transparent.
Everything went well, the handover was friendly and uncomplicated. The functionality of the boat could be improved in one place or another, but everything is fine so far. Best wishes Siegmar
Very bad! To start with, just upon arrival they ask you for 2€ for environmental reasons. Then, they didn't give us a very basic and quick instruction about the boat, when we had 0 sailing experience. They didn't tie the anchor to us as they should have, and in the middle of the excursion it fell into the sea when we threw it. And to finish, they don't let you pay for gasoline with a card, and they added 22% more than what we had spent. Very bad, really, not at all recommendable.

The boat was very clean and as described. Reception and check-in and the explanation of the boat were very professional. However, we had a problem with the sun canopy on the way, which was very wobbly and we could not open it. Be sure to have them show you before the tour how to unfold it and fasten it securely - we made a note of that for the next time! The 30 liter tank is easily enough for the day if you don't always drive at full throttle. Then you are included with an additional 75.00 petrol costs (2.50 € per liter). Everything went great. The staff was very friendly! Price / offer: Very good! Only the boat was getting a bit old. The steering and shifting were very hard to use.

Impeccable and very friendly charterer, quick check in, the boat was delivered clean and in perfect condition, suitable for couples and small groups of people, perfect leather interior and comfortable cushions, awning in excellent condition, I only had a few problems with the engine during reverse but it didn't impact our experience. Ps: Beware of the large tourist boats that seem to want all the space for them at the cost of hitting you and the shallows.

Initially very friendly and made a professional impression. Upholstery on the boat was ok, but buttons to hold it while driving were torn off and had to be fixed to the floor. When we came back at 5 p.m., he charged us 100 euros for damage for which we were not definitely responsible, but which we were already shown when we took over the boat. Unfortunately, we hadn't taken a photo in front of it and took his word for it. This mistake will never be made again! Was then not ready for a conversation but very angry and has not even said goodbye. It's a shame that such a beautiful day ended like this! PS: I am very sorry for the woman at the reception, because she was VERY friendly!

We really enjoyed renting this boat. Everything was in order and the communication was very clear. We received clear instructions and were given routes that we could follow that were really worth it! Highly recommended.
All very correct, I recommend this company. Due to rough seas they canceled the day and transferred it to me the next, it was perfect for me because others had not given in.
The treatment by one of the workers was very unpleasant, they changed the boat for us at that very moment in bad manners, justifying that it was not stable to go on the other one that we had chosen as we were 5 people.
