The gozzo is beautiful, spacious, but the engine is really noisy, as well as not very powerful, it seems to be "choked" due to consumption issues which, moreover, are negligible, but if you want to go to Palmarola, calculate more than an hour each way if the sea is calm otherwise it's better to give up. You will have an icebox, that is, a rigid refrigerator bag with ice inside and a shower at the stern but with a short hose and you will not be able to use it if you are on the platform. The rudder blade is undersized so maneuverability is sacrificed. Regarding the welcome, let's say that, apart from a cursory explanation on how the engine works, useful but I have a boating license, no mention of the safety equipment and their location. The welcome? In pure Ponza style, they act funny if they feel like it, otherwise they are certainly not friendly, but this is the trend on the island. An unpleasant thing on the last day when they demanded payment for consumption which was included as per the proposal made by them, an expensive rent, like everything is expensive in Ponza without however a consideration that justifies it.
Enzo and his wife are two very professional and extremely kind people. The gozzo is delicious, perfect for enjoying a nice tour around the island. Highly recommended!!!
Compliant description and very good time on Enzo's boat. Nothing to complain about, the experience was great. 2 hours to go around the island without stopping. The only downside is that the motor is noisy when running. It is located in the center of the boat which makes it possible to have a very practical table for the picnic but the captain finds himself a little cut off from conversations with the people at the front of the boat. The location of the boat is very convenient, just to the left of the LAZIOMAR hydrojet coming from Anzio. Awesome !
