Motorboat Jeanneau Cap Camarat 625 150hp
A fast robust Cap Camarat 625 is a perfect boat for a day trip around Portugal at a rapid pace. The Jeanneau hull design is very good for the sea conditions we have in Algarve. All our motorboats come with a large bimini, offering lots of necessary shade. During your trip/rental you can visit some of the most beautiful cliffs and bays around Portimao, Carvoeiro, Alvor and Lagos. We reccomend anchoring in Joao d'Arens bay or heading into Alvor for lunch. This boat is Perfect for up 7 people. A security deposit of €1000 must be left with Portiate during check-in. Equipment Included: Flares, life jackets, first aid kit, spare rope, knife, bimini sun cover, anchor+chain/rope and chart plotter. Fuel: Motorboats are delivered to our clients with a full tank of fuel and must be returned in the same way at the client's expense. (we will refuel the boats together with our clients at the end of the charter). Full day fuel costs are usually between €80 and €130, depending on how the boat is driven. Full day rentals run from 10 am to 5 pm. Half day rentals run from 10 am to 1pm or 2 pm to 5pm A full area and boat briefing will be conducted at the time of your check-in. The boat is located in Marina de Portimão. Possible Extras: • Donut ring = 100€ per day. Wakeboard/paddle = 100€ per day. All extras must be paid at the base in cash.

À fuir absolument : matériel dangereux et loueur intimidant Une expérience déplorable. Le bateau était inutilisable : la chaîne de mouillage beaucoup trop courte rendait tout ancrage impossible et mettait clairement la sécurité en danger. J’ai signalé le problème à plusieurs reprises, mais le loueur a préféré nier l’évidence. Pire encore : plutôt que de reconnaître sa responsabilité, il a tenté de m’intimider, attitude inacceptable de la part d’un professionnel censé inspirer confiance. Résultat : journée gâchée, stress permanent, et aucune solution proposée. Ce loueur ne respecte ni ses clients, ni les règles élémentaires de sécurité. Si vous tenez à votre tranquillité et à votre sécurité, ne vous approchez pas de ce loueur. Réponse du propriétaire: Dear Mr. Cyril, On the day of your rental, we provided you with a full area briefing, including anchoring spot recommendations. You were then taken to the boat and given a complete boat briefing, covering all onboard systems and the use of safety equipment, in compliance with Portuguese maritime law. You inspected the boat, agreed to take it out, and raised no concerns at the time. At this point it is also important to mention that, free of any extra charge, we upgraded you to a newer, bigger and more modern boat as a gesture of goodwill, since it was available on that day. Which you reported to the platform afterwards as "not providing the boat described". Regarding maritime safety, we must clarify that you were seen tied to the 300-meter marker at Praia do Alemão. We have several witnesses, both onshore and on anchored boats. This practice is strictly prohibited, and in doing so you displaced the marker from its original position. Although you did not admit this to us, even when asked directly, we have sufficient confirmation of what occurred. After your return, when you raised a concern about anchoring, we immediately agreed to assist further. Two of our skippers went out with you to the same location where successfully anchored at more than 10 meters, despite your claim that the anchor was too short to reach 7 meters. As explained, the issue was not with the boat or equipment... Furthermore, you were offered a full refund if the equipment was proven faulty, which it was not. We entirely disagree with your review, as it does not accurately reflect the service and support you received. No other clients have reported issues with anchoring till day. Calling us thieves, threatening us with your position, contacts, lawsuits against us, and making unfounded accusations was very disrespectful, and no, we can't agree to tolerate that. Our company, operating since 1996, has always placed safety and professionalism above all else. All of our boats are carefully maintained, undergo all necessary inspections, and are fully compliant with maritime regulations. We remain confident in the quality of our service and in the way this situation was handled. It was a fantastic day! Our skipper, Julio, showed us the most beautiful spots and was also very informative about the area. Because the boat isn't too big, we were even able to enter the caves. We also swam, snorkeled, and used the tube behind the boat. We had a great time!
It was fantastic, a great boat and service team, very nice and friendly. The area around Portimao, Ferragudo, and Lagos was beautiful. There were six of us on the boat and we all had a great time.

All perfect. Louis most kind. They facilitate the exit of the port and they put the gasoline with you so there are no doubts. The only downside is not the boat or the owner, it is the price of gasoline in Portugal, very expensive. As I say, everything else perfect.

Just perfect !! We rented a model for 7 people. Extremely honest price, all the comfort announced as well as the options were at the appointment. We arrived 30 minutes late for our morning meeting and Louise offered to return the boat 30 minutes later! Really very nice. The area is splendid and all the spots recommended by Louise were more beautiful than each other. I recommend without hesitation!!!
Avoid at all costs! The description of the rental does not correspond to reality. The equipment described is in fact chargeable and is ultimately not available! The boat is in poor condition. The GPS broke down in the middle of the sea. The bench is in ruins. In addition, the rental company forbids sailing with the bimini deployed (must you die of sunburn?) And forbidden to enter the caves. What is the point of renting a boat in the Algarve if not to enter the caves? In short, go your way.
