Day 1: Bodrum → Kara Ada (short stop) → Kissebükü Bay Distance: ~20 nautical miles total Highlights: Quick swim/snorkel stop at Kara Ada's hot springs (early morning). Then a longer sail east to the wild, remote Kissebükü Bay. No towns here — just nature: pine forests, a few ancient ruins, and quiet beaches. Overnight: Anchor in Kissebükü. Total peace. Stargazing is incredible here. --- Day 2: Kissebükü → Seven Islands (Yedi Adalar) Distance: ~18 nautical miles Highlights: Sail southeast to Seven Islands, a legendary spot among sailors. Maze-like cluster of tiny islands and coves — amazing for exploring by dinghy, snorkeling, and hidden beaches. Swim at Kufre Bay or Gollu Bay. Adventure Tip: Try a hike through the pine forests inland (hidden paths lead to amazing viewpoints). Overnight: Wild anchorage among the Seven Islands. --- Day 3: Seven Islands → Löngöz Bay → English Harbour (İngiliz Limanı) Distance: ~12–15 nautical miles Highlights: Short hop to Löngöz Bay in the morning (calm, thick pine forests come right down to the sea). Swim in the deep green waters. Then sail to English Harbour, a historic, hidden bay used by British Navy ships in WWII. Tucked-in, fjord-like anchorage — stunning natural beauty. Overnight: Anchor at English Harbour (very protected and calm). --- Day 4: English Harbour → Bodrum Distance: ~30 nautical miles (long sailing day) Highlights: Early start for a rewarding open-water sail back to Bodrum. Stop midway at Orak Island for a swim/snorkel break (the bluest water you'll see!). Return to Milta Bodrum Marina by late afternoon.

We had a wonderful week aboard the boat "Zorbas" with Captain Serkan and Chef Memet, exploring the Turkish and Greek seas. From the very beginning, Melih was extremely attentive and helpful, managing to find a gulet that was also licensed to sail in Greek waters – which turned out to be quite a challenge. A misunderstanding regarding additional fuel costs due to the extended travel time was clarified with the Captain on board. We were warmly welcomed on board. Serkan is not only an excellent captain but also has a great sense of humor. Memet – without exaggeration – is an outstanding chef who treated us to delicious meals every single day. The only minor downside was the air filter of the air conditioning in one of the cabins, which could only be cleaned after a few days. Overall, everything was very straightforward, and we truly enjoyed our time on board. We will definitely be back.

Gürsoy is an excellent captain. The boat is comfortable and very fast, which makes travelling to different beaches and bays very quick. We visited some beautiful natural pools thanks to Captain Gürosy's knowledge. Good price compared to the average in Bodrum Beautiful experience that I recommend

Where to sail to from Bodrum?

When it comes to sailing, Bodrum is an ideal starting point. You can head north towards Izmir, or east towards Fethiye and Marmaris. And remember, your sailing routes are not limited to Turkey… also consider sailing to the Greek Islands of Rhodes, Symi, and Kos.

Important! If you are planning to sail to Greece, make you have the proper border documents before arriving at a Greek port. Sometimes this process can take a long time, so it’s better to have your documents prepared and completed about two weeks before your trip.

  • Marmaris: If you are interested in relaxing in the shade of pine trees on pebble beaches during the day and enjoying the exciting nightlife in the evenings - then you will definitely remember and enjoy this location. Plus the views of the city from the bay are stunning.
  • Fethiye: A small but cozy town on the Turquoise Coast, located in a natural harbour. If you are a hiker and love history, be sure to drop an anchor in Fethiye Bay.
  • Rhodes: Known for its legends and history of the ancient world, it attracts tourists from all over the world with its landscapes, paradisiacal beaches, and azure waters.
  • Simi: A small Greek island with houses painted in bright summer colours, which also happens to be close to the Turkish coast.
  • Kara-Ada: This is a special Turkish destination, as it was named the “Black Islands” due to the colour of sand. It’s ideal for navigating between islands. Check-out Turguteis Beach and Camel Beach.
