Equipped with awning, shower, radio with USB port, rod holders, lockers that allow you to stow everything you need to spend fun days without depriving yourself of comfort. The boat is located at the port of Acitrezza (Catania). This allows you to move towards Acireale (a visit to Timpa is well worth it), towards the golden beaches of the plaja. Get ready for a marine excursion that will immerse you in the legend and breathtaking beauty of the eastern coast of Sicily! Starting from the suggestive Acitrezza, land of the Cyclops and Homeric myths, we offer you two fascinating itineraries, each an unforgettable journey. Towards Isola Bella: Set sail with us towards the south and be enchanted by the majestic Timpa di Acireale, a volcanic cliff that plunges straight into the sea, revealing millenary stratifications. After about an hour and a half of panoramic navigation, you will reach the iconic Isola Bella of Taormina, a true natural jewel, often called the "pearl of the Mediterranean". Here, crystal clear waters and lush vegetation will invite you to an unforgettable swim. Beyond the Faraglioni: Alternatively, if the wind takes us north, you will be able to admire up close the imposing Faraglioni of Acitrezza, basaltic rocks that emerge from the sea, silent witnesses of ancient volcanic eruptions and legends. The boat was clean and in good condition. We've been able to o to Taormina from Aci Trezza and back without any issues. Giacomo does not speak English too well, but he managed to help us with all our needs and questions one way or another. In the end it was a nice, authentic experience renting from a local instead of a company. Highly recommend !

Booking was very easy online, and contact via WhatsApp also worked well. However, the meeting point was unclear – only a street was given and only a photo of a staircase was sent. We addressed this and hope that it will be clarified more clearly for future renters (e.g., with an exact Google Maps location). On the day of the boat rental, we arrived on time, but learned that we couldn't leave for about an hour. Instead of 9:00 a.m., the departure didn't end until 10:18 a.m. That was a shame, even though the owners were sorry. Before departure, we took a photo of the fuel level, which I would recommend to anyone, as the tank wasn't quite full. The boat itself was fine and offered everything you would expect in this class. With 40 hp, it's well-powered. The berths are adequate; there were two of us, and there was plenty of room. Music is only available via radio or AUX cable – unfortunately, no Bluetooth. There's also no storage space. The surrounding area is less conducive to idyllic bays for anchoring. We drifted, which was beautiful, but less impressive compared to other regions. Of course, this isn't something the rental company can change, but it's worth knowing. You can drive to Taormina, but whether it's worth it is up to each individual to decide, especially because of the fuel costs. This was also our biggest criticism: We drove very little and slowly overall, but still ended up paying €100 for fuel. Each bar on the fuel gauge costs €25. So be sure to bring cash, as it can get expensive quickly. When we asked for a discount on the fuel costs due to the lost hour, the rental company was unfortunately unaccommodating. They only offered to drive longer – which wasn't an option for us due to a follow-up appointment and the onset of darkness (especially since additional fuel would have been expensive). The rental companies were nice, but only spoke Italian, which made communication a bit tricky. Overall, a solid boat, priced below similar offers, but with weaknesses in terms of organization, goodwill, and fuel costs.

If I could give it a zero, I would. We rented the 40hp boat through Click&Boat for a trip from Aci Trezza to Taormina. Upon return, we were charged €180 for 90 liters of fuel, with the explanation that the boat had two 55-liter tanks. Upon further inquiry, we were told that fuel consumption and tank capacity of that type are difficult to find on a 40hp boat for that trip. We were not provided with a receipt for payment. We recommend always checking fuel consumption and requesting a receipt to avoid misunderstandings.
