Hello everyone, I'm offering this beautiful Beneteau Antares 650 motorboat for charter. It was launched in 2008 and is perfectly maintained. They are renowned for being very safe boats, ensuring you'll have no trouble navigating. This boat is available from the port of Anglet. You'll have the opportunity to discover and sail our magnificent coastline. With a capacity of 6 people on board, this motorboat is ideal for an outing with family or friends. On board, you'll find a swim ladder for easy access to the pool, a sun awning, a bow sundeck, and all the necessary electronic equipment (GPS, VHF). Inside, you'll have access to a cabin with a table and a double bed. It's also equipped with a 115 hp engine that will allow you to quickly reach your anchorages or beaches. It's an engine that combines power, speed, and fuel economy. Fuel is your responsibility; we'll arrange this at the port on the day of your rental! The most important thing: VHF radio does not work! I do not know how is it in France, but in Germany it is prohibited to sail with radio off when there is one registered onboard. In any case, it is very dangerous to sail in ocean without radio. In addition, the light buoy was broken too, nothing to say about pyrotechnik. The only way one can call for help from this boat is a mouth horn! Then, the boat is quite not as described: 1. No WC. 2. No awning. 3. No deck shower. And to finish the list: 4. It was very dirty. The boat was obviously used for fishing, and was not washed properly. 5. Windshild wipers are very old and only smear dirt instead of cleaning, so I needed to stop and clean the windshield with towel every 30 minutes. 6. The boat is very small. Physicaly, it can fit 6 persons, but for comfort it may be used by maximum two grown-ups with one child (better without one). 7. The engine is very weak for ocean. When the wind is 4-5, it moves against the wind very slowly. 8. Steering wheel is very hard, my wife could not drive it at all. 9. Door lock is brocken, so you will need to take all the stuff with you if you stay in foreign port. 10. Owner speaks very poor English (I do not know who gave him an SRC and high sea certificates, in Germany we have to learn English well for that), so if you do not know French you will get nearly no instructions. Conclusion: the boat may only be used for fishing and maybe to move quickly between ports, but absolutely not suitable for leasure.
Eric is very friendly and provides all the necessary explanations. The boat is sufficiently powerful, comfortable, reassuring, and easy to handle.
One-day rental with the towed buoy option. We were three adults and had a great day. Clean, comfortable boat that met our expectations. Thank you, Eric, for providing his Antares.
