Great sailboat, sails very well and very seaworthy! the interior is a bit rustic but currently being renovated and everything works. The owner is great and very responsive

Super three-day navigation around the bay of Quiberon with the Gibsea. François was available, accommodating and the perfect knowledge of his boat allows a very effective handling!

François knew how to make his boat an excellent balance between comfort, safety and performance. Although old, we feel at all levels the interviews that allow this Gibsea to keep in shape. It is also perfectly equipped for children (small lanyards and life jackets) which makes it the family boat par excellence. Francois is a very responsive, attentive, accommodating owner who knows his boat perfectly. The boat is naturally showing its age inside but has benefited from recent sails, running rigging, new winches and refurbished electrical equipment. Frncois leaves everything on board which is very useful. It is equipped with an annex and an HB engine. For those who would like a more distant cruise, the boat is not fitted out offshore. We benefited from the boat's Morbihan passport card and therefore free nights as visitors in other ports. Thanks again to Francois for our little cruise in the bay of Quiberon.

The comment I left a few weeks ago is still valid, this Gib Sea 30 is an old boat that is very seaworthy and fine at the helm. It goes upwind very well, is reassuring and advances with little air. Improvements are constant on the boat since François continues his refreshment with in particular the project of a new engine this summer. It retains a period feel inside and therefore less advanced comfort than on more recent boats, but it is functional and very well equipped for life on board.

François, the owner is really very available and accommodating. He knows his boat perfectly. The boat is maintained with care (fittings, sails, electricity ... perfect). Ideal for a cruise off Crouesty. I highly recommend.

François' gib sea 30 is an old boat to which he gives new life. It retains all the qualities of its design (seaworthy boat, reassuring, moving forward, etc.) with permanent improvements such as new rigging, self-locking winches, new portholes, floor and electricity. The interior is period and it is very well equipped for life on board. François was available and we had good discussions.

The 2020 exterior refit of this GibSea 30 allows you to benefit from the renewed marine qualities of this boat, powerful whether under sail or with its inboard engine. The rustic interior has remained in its own juice and awaits its refit which will not be long in coming, which will give it an increased level of comfort. We are on an owner's boat, so with a lot of equipment. Thanks to François for this first rental. He is accommodating, available, and will be able to guide you in the use of his equipment.
