Hello, I'm offering my Jeanneau Gin Fizz sloop for charter, departing from Le Crouesty (56). The only 12-meter sailboat with a separate aft cabin! Completely renovated "round-the-world" cruising sailboat. New Mitsubishi 42 hp inboard engine, August 2020. Hull paint 2022. Shaft drive and three-blade propeller 2024. Separate aft cabin renovated 2025. Suitable for 6 people for offshore cruising and 8 people for coastal cruising. Three cabins including a separate aft cabin. As a private sailboat, the boat is perfectly equipped for independent offshore cruising and features all modern comforts, including a galley with oven, accessories, and cooking utensils. Safety equipment. Integrated GPS beacon. 135W solar panel, shore charger, electric windlass with 2 remote controls, fixed VHF radio with AIS receiver and Wi-Fi transmitter for connection to tablets and mobile VHF radios, onboard GPS and tablet power outlets, Tacktick electronics, integrated Raymarine autopilot, Vion barograph, refrigerator, hot water via an on-board heat exchanger and 220V shore power, integrated Webasto diesel heater, USB ports for charging smartphones. It is designed for 8 to 10 people, but equipped for 6 people for optimal comfort. It sleeps 8. From Le Crouesty, several superb destinations immediately await you. You can set sail for the islands of Houat, Hoëdic, Belle Île en Mer, Groix, Lorient, Concarneau, or the Glénan archipelago. Or head south to reach the Île d'Yeu via Noirmoutier, and why not make a rural stopover on the Vilaine River, past the Arzal lock. Very well equipped boat, great weekend spent aboard Alter d'Ego with friends who were new to cruising.
Jean Louis took the time to explain the specificities of the boat to me and remained reachable in case of questions. The boat in question is efficient and well maintained. Thank you Jean Louis, we had an unforgettable stay.
Old boat but still very seaworthy (7 knots on average) which allowed us to sail between the island of Eyes, Pornichet, Belle Île and Houat. Only downside, the shower and the annex which were functional but with some problems (drainage and water voice at floor level). A special mention for the owner who is as friendly as he is available.
We found a few systems on board which are not the most practical, but the boat remains very comfortable despite its age, and we left for four days at 8! A missing piano wire which was quickly replaced thanks to the equipment on board. A little misunderstanding on the day of departure but Jean-Louis very pleasantly did everything to make up for it so that it did not ultimately interfere with our departure. Good rental for a quite moderate cost.

Alter ego despite her advanced age remains a very good boat, well equipped and safe in bad weather. Jean louis is very flexible on schedules. That’s a really big plus. Just a little pilot problem to deplore during our cruise.

Very good choice for a sea trip with peace of mind and safety. For an attractive price, Alter Ego offers you all the necessary equipment as well as a "home" comfort that new sailboats often find it difficult to match. With two double cabins, a generous saloon with four berths and a very spacious cockpit, the boat appears larger than its actual size of 11.4m. For his part, Jean-Louis is responsive and very friendly, and will provide you with all the information you need to get started with peace of mind. Good luck!

Depuis toujours attiré par les grands espaces, la mer et le ciel. L'air et l'eau ont beaucoup de similitudes et constituent pour moi une même passion. Devenu pilote de planeur et d'avions légers très jeune, puis expérience de dériveur avant de faire l'acquisition d'un premier voilier quillard que j'ai remis en état avant de passer à des modèles plus sophistiqués. Aujourd'hui, Alter Ego est mon 4ième (et probablement dernier...) bateau. J'y ai mis mon expérience de près de 40 ans de navigation, un peu de sueur ...et surtout beaucoup de passion que j'aime faire partager.
