Overall rating
We had booked the Windseeker Bavaria 51 Cruiser. Unfortunately, the information regarding available booking dates and check-in/check-out times was incorrect. The booking portal stated the available dates as October 4th to October 14th. After repeated inquiries with Angie, a fixed date from October 8th to 18th was agreed upon, at the same price. The check-in and check-out times of 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, respectively, could not be accommodated. An earlier check-in before 2:00 PM would have incurred additional costs, so 2:00 PM was agreed upon. Shortly after 1:00 PM, while we were in the taxi to the Alimos port, we received a message that check-in had been postponed. We were told to wait in a café in the port, while Angie was supposed to pick us up. After 2 hours, we asked what was going on. Only then did we receive the information that the ship wasn't ready yet because the previous checkout was later. After 2.5 hours, we were ordered to 4. The boat then arrived at the owner's sons' request. They were very keen to hand the boat over in good condition, but due to their lack of time, it wasn't working. The deck wasn't clean. And of the three toilets, only one worked. Angie said we could get underway and assured us that a technician would come to our first trip destination. But of course, he never came. Even after repeated inquiries and occasional sniffs, all I got was a response telling me to contact a new person. The service and communication from the charter company, All Blue, was very poor and consistently inaccurate. The boat itself was good, and the owner's sons were also very helpful. But the management, unfortunately, is completely dysfunctional. We were understanding, as the owners were very helpful and explained to us that the previous renter had simply returned the boat late. However, this cannot be the new renter's problem and should be communicated immediately by the charter company so that we aren't sitting around aimlessly in the harbor. For example, they could have covered the waiting costs at the harbor café. After all, the plan was to set sail that same day, which was no longer possible. It would also be appropriate to offer a discount due to the non-functioning toilets and the uncleaned deck. After all, we paid for a functioning ship with a complete final cleaning. The owner can only be advised to look for a different contract partner than All Blue. Perhaps then they can better keep the database at "Click&Boat" up to date and adhere to the stated check-in and check-out times.
