Welcome aboard in the most classic racer-cruiser sailing yacht, Benetau first 40,7 (2001). Its a 3 cabin sailing yacht, docked in the Yacht club of Amfithea. (20' from Athens city center and 10' from Piraeus) Empleon can accommodate up to 8 people in 3 double cabins and a saloon with 2 extra beds. Pillows, bed linens and towels are included in the price. Sailing yacht Empleon offers one toilet and two showers one interior and one exterior. Boat equipment features classic battened mainsail and furling genoa, the sails are new. GPS plotter(garmin), bimini, external cushions. The fully-equipped galley includes an oven,cooker, fridge, refrigerator, sink and kitchen utensils. With the solar panels you wont worry about electricity, you can sail around independently without docking every day at a port. Live the sailing experience in the magestic Greek waters and explore by island hopping as much islands as you can! For those who have racing experience hoist the sails and travel by the wind of Aegean Sea. We are Marianna and Nikos the owners of the boat and we can suggest you spots for docking, ports, sailing routes, places to visit and even restaurants to enjoy traditional greek cusine. What an amazing trip. Marianna was very helpful throughout the whole charter. We had such a great time sailing across the Saronic islands on this boat - would definitely recommend!
5 stars for Marianna and Nikos!!! The communication prior to closing the booking was quick and accurate, Marianna replied to all my questions in a very timely manner and in detail. After closing the booking, she shared the contract, which was very thorough and helped me to understand what was expected from me and the crew. On the day to get the boat, Nikos was on time, and he explained with great detail and very patiently all the features of the boat, answered all our questions and gave us clear instructions on everything that we needed to know. I must say that besides a couple of details, we didn't need to contact him nor Marianna, since it was all clear to us. The boat itself is a beauty, and everything in it is in top condition, we didn't have any troubles whatsoever to use the motor nor for sailing. On the day of the check-out, Nikos was again on time, and it all went smoothly. All in all, we had a blast and we could sail knowing that the boat is super reliable and robust. Empleons sailing characteristics are really enjoyable, together with its high maintenance level and attention to equipment details Nikos put in place, we can only recommend this boat to those, who want to experience a nice owner yacht.

Positive points: * Very friendly and responsive owners. We greatly appreciated the early check-in on the Saturday of departure and the check-out on the Saturday morning of arrival, which allowed us one last night at anchor. * Quick repairs by the owner following a problem with the lazy jack at departure. * Reliable engine * Very seaworthy and fast boat, in good general condition for its age * Reinforced electrical system allowing the refrigerator to be left plugged in at all times * Very authentic departure marina, easily accessible from central Athens by public transport. Points for improvement: * NO AUTOPILOT, contrary to what was mentioned in the ad! * Defective dinghy engine (this can happen, and the owner discovered it at the same time as us) * Unusual windlass with very frequent chain jamming * No spray hood, which would have allowed for better enjoyment of the cockpit in the late-season weather. * Genoa in poor condition when the boat was taken into account Inherent to the boat's model: * Very narrow aft deck with difficult access

The owners Nicos and Marianna were super receptive and attentive. They welcomed us before check-in when we left our bags on the boat. We had a wonderful time sailing around some islands south of Athens
