Semi-rigid boat Zodiac Medline 550, 5.50 meters, year 2011, 115 HP Suzuki 4-stroke for 9 people: GPS tracker GARMIN, sun awning, front and rear sundeck, cane, ski mast, coastal safety equipment. The boat is based in Guadeloupe, south of Basse Terre at the marina of Rivière Sens. The two nearest destinations are: The archipelago of Saintes classified as one of the most beautiful bays in the world is accessible in 30 minutes of crossing. The Leeward Coast: Sail in the direction of the reserve Cousteau (30 min of navigation). Take off for a whaling game or watch for cetaceans. Sperm whales and dolphins are present all year round and humpback whales from January to April. Advice on approach techniques In the GPS, many FADs are marked as well as the cetacean observation area. Possibility to rent Wakeboard, water skiing, towed buoy, cooler, fishing equipment. Boat as described. Very easy to maneuver (especially since it was my first time, after having had the permit). The site is very beautiful (Cousteau reserve + dolphins when arriving at Basse-Terre). And finally, Amélie was very available, took the time to present the boat to us and give us lots of advice.
Mika withdrew 100 euros from the deposit for a simple tear of the towed buoy cover while the entire buoy with hoist inflator cover and patches costs 100 euros. Not all that honest. And very frankly, luckily I'm the skipper myself, his explanations were frankly not very precise, to believe that only the collection part interested him. I will not re-rent from this lessor, VERY DISAPPOINTING
