Renting a dinghy in Cala Gonone independently allows you to visit the entire Gulf of Orosei up to Cala Goloritzè, freely deciding the times and stops. The boats are equipped with a ladder to make it easier to get back on board after a swim at anchor, the 40 HP Yamaha and Mercury engines will guarantee safety and reliability even in less than optimal sea weather conditions. (they do not require a boating license). The boat will be available from 8:30 to 16:30 and can carry a maximum of 10 people, they are fully equipped with all the safety equipment on board. Our staff is present daily along the coast, thus ensuring constant assistance, if problems arise or for any need, we guarantee availability throughout the day. Assistance and detailed explanation before departure on the use of the boat and the on-board equipment if listened to carefully, avoids any risk during the trip to sea, even for those who venture for the first time to rent a dinghy in Cala Gonone. Included in the price you will find on board a cool bag, fresh ice lollies and umbrella, if you decide to stop on one of the beaches along the coast. FUEL EXCLUDED FROM THE PRICE! I don't mind waiting to collect the boat 20 mins, but waiting 1 hour 30 mins so that you can abide by their stupid refueling system is frankly ridiculous. The staff say "we told you to come back at 3pm to avoid the queues" - as if that would be a reason to rent a boat. They are stupid that they cannot organise themselves like every other boat operator in the Med!
I would not recommend this service based on my recent experience. I booked a full-day rental through ClickandBoat.com, but when we arrived at Agostino Charter at 8:30 AM, we were told that due to uncertain weather conditions, we might be asked to return to port early. Later that day, I was indeed contacted and instructed to return by 1:00 PM—significantly earlier than the original 5:00 PM return time. While I understand that weather conditions can change and safety must come first, I was disappointed that no partial refund or discount was offered for what ended up being only half a day on the water. Because I had paid in full online, I had no room to negotiate or seek a resolution. It feels unfair that the customer bears the full risk when plans are disrupted. In light of this, I would not recommend this service and suggest exploring options that offer more flexibility or clearer policies for weather-related interruptions.
A fantastic experience with Agostino! We booked with little notice, and everything still went perfectly! We had a wonderful day of sailing and beach time! 100% recommended!
