We rented a Pershing 48 through Click&Boat. The boat itself was in good condition, very well maintained, and lived up to the pictures and expectations. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing—especially regarding the service and communication surrounding the skippers and the additional jet ski offer. First, regarding the skippers: While they were friendly, they clearly had little local knowledge and didn't show us any special spots or beautiful bays—even though we had expressly booked a day charter to explore precisely such places. Instead, we sailed rather haphazardly. In one of the bays, the skippers suddenly started fixing the radio instead of looking after the guests or creating a pleasant atmosphere. Beyond that, they weren't particularly helpful or engaging. Furthermore, we returned to the harbor around 5:00 PM, even though the charter officially ran until 6:00 PM. The last hour we had paid for was simply canceled without prior agreement. An even bigger problem was the jet ski: We had paid €350 in advance for a jet ski, with the clear promise that it would be available to us for the entire day. Once we arrived, we were suddenly informed that we could only use it for 30 minutes. When we asked the rental company about this, they simply replied, "That's just the way it is." This was in clear contradiction to the previous statements, which stated that the jet ski would be provided in a bay and that we could then use it for an unlimited period of time. Due to this short-term and non-transparent change, we declined the jet ski offer on site – but we were not offered a refund. Overall, the boat was nice, but the poor communication, the unprofessional service from the skippers, the broken promises regarding the jet ski, and the early return significantly tarnished the overall experience. You chartered a Pershing 48 in excellent condition — as you yourself acknowledged — with two professional skippers, and followed an itinerary that took you to iconic destinations such as Taormina, Isola Bella, and the coast of Giardini Naxos. These are universally recognized as some of the most beautiful places in the world, visited by millions of tourists every year — yet you describe them as “not particularly special”. On this point, we can only smile: fortunately, the beauty of certain places does not require individual approval to be evident. Regarding the radio episode: we would like to clarify that your phone was unable to connect, and it was precisely in an attempt to resolve your issue and allow you to enjoy your music that the skipper briefly attended to the audio system. Certainly not to ignore the guests, as you suggest. As for the schedule: you returned punctually at 6:00 pm, as planned. Simply, around 5:30 pm you requested to return to port after a beautiful coastal passage along Giardini Naxos, choosing of your own accord to skip the final swim stop because you were concerned about the possible presence of sharks in the area. We find it quite inappropriate to present this as a “cancellation” of paid time. Finally, regarding the jet ski: no promise was ever made regarding unlimited use, nor is it legally possible to offer this in Italy. The 30 minutes allocated — regulated and supervised — were exactly as communicated from the beginning. You declined to use it on site — which is perfectly legitimate — but this, of course, cannot justify a refund as the jet ski was made fully available to you. We have been passionately, transparently, and professionally dedicated to this work for years, as demonstrated by the many enthusiastic reviews from those who choose to experience the sea with us.
