Kocoa was renovated in 2014. Very seaworthy boat that will take you from Alderney to Chausey via the coasts of La Hague.

Overall we had a great experience with the Kocoa. It offers great value for money. The owners were great in communication and very flexible and helpful during the trip. The boat is well maintained, everything felt very solid. The inventory and additional equipment (bbq, fishing gear, kitchen equipment) was also very nice. Minor point: I would recommend to get your own navigation app (on tablet) instead of onboard GPS. The only downside is the home port of Cherbourg. This requires you to go around Cap de la Hague to get to the magnificent Channel Islands. As we experienced this should only be done with good weather, making your holiday planning more susceptible to weather-related alterations. Dimitri was very flexible in this regard, offering us to postpone for a couple of days.
Everything went very well on board, good welcome and handling of the boat, proactive response from the owner to questions asked, the rush sails well upwind and the engine was there for entering and leaving the port. All the necessary equipment is present, including the kitchen equipment which is much appreciated, we did not use the windlass, boat to recommend, see you soon
