Rent our 14-meter Beneteau Oceanis 440 sailboat with 4 cabins, moored at the Denia Yacht Club, Alicante, Spain. Sleeps 10 during the day and 8 overnight, ideal for group outings. Its 2+2 double cabins (two cabins with double mattresses and two cabins with bunk beds) guarantee a high level of comfort. 3 full bathrooms with showers. Our Beneteau Oceanis 440 sailboat features a furling mainsail, bimini top, and external GPS plotter. It also has a flat-screen TV, audio system, exterior speakers, and interior speakers. The fully equipped galley includes an oven, sink, microwave (220v), two electric refrigerators, two iceboxes, and cooking utensils. Tailor-made charters: Full day coastal cruises, Weekend coastal cruises, Bachelor/Bachelorette parties, Group trips, Full weeks in Ibiza or Formentera. Salt Route, Canary Islands crossings. Open sea, regattas, etc. With or without a skipper. A valid PER (Recreational Skipper's License) is required for bareboat charters. Hello. Renting Angel's boat was a great success. He was always willing to answer any questions we had, both before and during the rental. We had a fantastic day. He pointed out the potential dangers in the navigation area on the chart and explained everything about the boat's operation perfectly. Very helpful. We would definitely do it again.
Angel is a very kind and attentive skipper with his sailboat. His explanations were very clear, and the boat is prepared for sailors of all skill levels. The boat is a bit old but very well maintained, and everything works well. The sailboat's engine is almost new, and the dinghy's engine is also new and works perfectly. Sailing the Gladiator was a true pleasure!
What are we supposed to rate here? The advertised skipper only came to collect the money. A skipper who was on the boat for the first time came. We chartered a sailing yacht because we're both sailors. The weather would have been perfect. The skipper couldn't operate the mainsail, then called Angel and still couldn't manage it. The mainsail was jammed. For safety reasons, the boat shouldn't be chartered like that. We actually spent the entire day motoring. We even refueled at the end and had to pay for it. The advertised skipper and owner showed up in the harbor, tugging on the mainsail. He knew about the condition of his sail and didn't even apologize. That was a disappointment.
Angel was very friendly and transparent. The boat is fantastic. We went with Jaime as skipper so we could get some practice with the boat and it was a great day!
