Boat rental in Elounda · Olympic — Sx 4.90 (2019)

The four of us were greeted with a warm welcome and they spoke excellent English. They explained where we could and couldn’t go and gave us some ideas of nice places to visit. We then went onto the boat which I’m sure is the one in the picture, and they provided snorkels and a cool bag. We were taken out for 10 minutes where everything was explained really well and then we were left to explore on our own. The boat was better (and faster) than we thought it would be and we sped to the far side of Kolakytha to a lovely empty beach. After swimming and snorkelling for a couple of hours we came back and around Spinalonga and onto a couple of coves. Four hours flew by but it was with every penny. We couldn’t have wished for anything better. Thank you so much.

We had an excellent time on this rental. The whole day hire was actually only 4 hours but we had such a great time and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to explore Elounda bay and the nearby lagoons.

Can 100 % recommend. The boat is in very good condition. Even the little display worked. First time ever on a rental boat.

The steering wheel was broken into a thousand pieces and patched back together with duct tape. Unfortunately I can't post photos here. Despite 1.6m high waves, we were sent out in the 4.9m long boat. With the waves it was totally irresponsible. So when we drove back, we not only had to pay the full price for the 4 hours, but also 50 euros for petrol, as it was a flat rate. No matter how much you use and how long you are on the road. Rip off. In other regions of Crete you only pay half as much for the same boat.

The boat was ideal for two of us and was available and presented as agreed on our booking with clear instructions given before we left. It was also very helpful to be able to message the owner before we arrived in Crete.

Very helpful quick lesson and a lovely boat which worked a treat. Nice space at the front for sunbathing as well. Comes with snorkel and goggles, working anchor, cool box and dry storage. Access limited to the visible bay when water is choppy so check wind forecast.

Rented an Olympic 490 30hp. Clean boat, well-maintained. Really fast and powerful boat for 30hp. Handles well and safely, even in heavy waves. Owners speak five languages, including Dutch, Greek, French, and English. A very helpful family business. Beautiful snorkeling spots. Highly recommended!

We had a great time First of all, the upstream exchanges for the reservation were perfect. The day of the reservation the reception was very professional and friendly. All explanations have been provided and support for getting started. In summary, a very beautiful day from all points of view.

Helped well in the pre-process and when leaving with the boat. Sailing area where you can sail is a bit on the small side and can be done in 2 - 2.5 hours including a stop for snorkeling

Not worth it the staff very rude and given the boat the rudder was taped up with duct tape because it almost fell off and it was hard to steer when I pointed this out I was made a fool of and told we can't be trusted and we should leave the boat we didn't get any money back and preferably 0 stars
