It was a wonderful experience. My girlfriend and I had a great time, and we were able to dock and swim in some beautiful bays. Afterwards, we were able to relax on the boat and enjoy the sun.

NEVER book a boat with Michalis!! I've never in my life encountered such a rude and self-righteous man as Michalis from Afandou Boats. When you arrive, all he cares about is the extra money you have to pay, which is €150 in cash. This isn't mentioned anywhere, and he doesn't mention it in his WhatsApp contact either. His manner of addressing his clients lacks any hospitality or the ability to get them in the holiday mood. He simply yells and barks at you. He promised to meet us at the dock upon our return. We spent half an hour sailing around there, while the gentleman was sitting on the terrace further away and had clearly seen us. He also felt the need to yell at my daughter, "You, stand there and push the button!" She had no idea what he meant. My husband got up to help her, but Michalis then shouted, "No, you sit down, she has to do it." When we moored, he took it perfectly normal to tell us we should definitely give him a 5-star review. This man doesn't deserve a single star, but rather a degree in social communication. I wish him all the best, but as a landlord, he's terrible!

We had the boat on August 3rd from 10am to 5pm. The first 45 minutes were spent on briefing and paperwork. After that, it's definitely an experience to experience the island from the water and stop whenever you want. Important to mention!!! It's not clearly explained here at Click&Boat that fuel costs and community fees for assistance at sea are added on site. So our total cost was Click&Boat (€198) + on-site (€150) = €348

The boat and our boat trip were great. But that wasn't Michalis's fault! From the very beginning, he spoke to us condescendingly and wanted us to pay for the fuel and some kind of insurance for €160 up front! When we didn't want to do that and wanted to pay for the fuel afterwards (as is customary) (since then you can see how much fuel was actually used), Michalis became very angry and accordingly unfriendly. During the boat briefing, he made us look stupid and claimed we couldn't speak English, even though we had already been communicating in English for 20 minutes. During the briefing, he threatened to cancel the boat trip because we weren't listening to him enthusiastically enough. For the first half hour of our boat trip, our mood was considerably dampened by such an unfriendly and condescending encounter. That's the last thing you want! And surprise: in the end, instead of €160, we had to pay €80 for our fuel. It was clear that Michalis wouldn't have treated us the way he did if we hadn't been five young women. Due to his rude attitude, I can't recommend renting a boat with Michalis and will never book with him again!

Had a fantastic day. Excellent explanation and reception. A top experience never to forget. A REAL RECOMMENDATION!!! Keep in mind that there is still 100/120 euros to be paid on site for petrol. But it is definitely worth it!!

We were delighted with the boat, it was really fun to anchor in places where you can't get to normally... price/performance ratio was completely OK... we were given very good instructions on how to use the boat... and we were out all day... if you don't heat it, you get by very well on the fuel...

The day started well. We rented a nice boat and also got it. After 20 minutes of sailing we found out that the boss had given us the wrong boat. He came to us in a panic to change boats. When sailing back we filled up the petrol. The tank was not empty yet. The boat did not start after filling up. We called him and after about an hour of waiting in the hot sun we were helped. It was a nice day of sailing, but the service could be better. Afterwards we had to pay €100 for the help. After some nagging it turned out that we did not have to pay this if we leave a good review. Well, I prefer to be honest and would not rent a boat from this person so quickly.

In the chat I had in advance with the son of the owner, it was confirmed that we could sail to Lindos. At the moment itself this suddenly turned out to be a problem, so to speak, this had gone too far. Then it turned out to be unsafe without vascular proof. Suddenly it was possible if we bought extra gasoline. We refused this because we had already paid a fixed price of 80 euros (!) petrol. So the communication was not okay. The boat itself was actually too small for 8 people. Somewhere else on the island we found the same boats, but there the limit was 6 people. It remains to be seen whether this was ultimately responsible. Since everything had been paid for in advance with visas, we left anyway. We had a very nice day, but I would not book with this owner again.

We had a great day aboard an almost perfect boat! After a warm welcome we were able to enjoy various sublime beaches and coves all day long! We recommend ++++ no problems occurred.

Meeting point should be Afandou Beach. But the boat was in Kolymbia. But otherwise very nice. In the end he even drove us back to the hotel in a private car. It was a great experience. Gladly again ?

Amazing day on boat

Withheld my driver's license before and during the ride (for so called security arrangements). At the end of the ride I was fined 150€, because the so-called “coast guard” had seen us doing very dangerous things with the boat. According to the owner, we had sailed close to people and circled around them, which is absolutely not true. All in all nice day, but would never book a boat with this owner again.

The boat tour was a lot of fun, everything was exactly as it should be. Michael gave us a cooler with ice inside, that was handy!
