StCyp is a large modern Port de Plaisance (2000+ yachts) offering all marine facilities and services you may require. The large bay "Golf de Lion" provides very good thermical winds around 15 to 25 knots even in Summer. Beware of weather changes though, coming downhill the Pyrenee Mountains. "Tramontana" winds can get very strong. Going further South from there to Port Vendres, around Cap Bear to Spain, Port de la Selva, around Cap Creus to Cadaques, L'Escala and L'Estartit, you will find pitoresque fisher Harbours and marvelous little bays with great anchoring and snorkeling spots.
Herve is delightful and comes highly recommended. We needed a boat with a skipper with short notice and he sorted us out. Great day out including swimming and fishing - we caught a beauty for supper! The children had so much fun and Herve went out of his way providing drinks and biscuits too. His boat was clean and comfortable.
