Please note that this review is for Yacht a Mangusta 72 called “ Lukas Off-White” – and not for the Yacht advertised. Extremely Poor Condition and Disappointing Experience Our experience aboard Lukas Off-White, a Mangusta 72 yacht, was unfortunately extremely disappointing and far below any acceptable standard for a luxury charter. From the moment we stepped on board, it was evident that the yacht was in a state of severe neglect. The carpets were largely ripped out or heavily damaged, giving the interior a rundown and unfinished appearance. The toilet in the master cabin was completely out of order, which was both inconvenient and unacceptable for a vessel of this class. Another toilette didn’t even have a toilette seat. Additionally, a significant number of the cabinets had doors hanging off or were entirely dysfunctional, adding to the feeling of disrepair. The yacht appeared to have undergone no recent maintenance or deep cleaning. Various surfaces throughout the interior were stained – including visible traces of makeup, blood, and other substances – which raised serious concerns about hygiene and cleanliness. Overall, the condition of the boat did not reflect the standard promised, nor did it justify the high charter price of €11,000. While the operator did offer a €1,000 discount and waived the APA as a gesture of goodwill, it did little to make up for the state of the yacht or the disruption to our experience. We would not recommend Lukas Off-White to other guests. A yacht charter should be a premium experience – this was anything but.
